Yeah thats what i did too. Deleted the folder, reinstalled SE.Live, opened OBS and it still moved extremely laggy until the OBS Window became unresponsive. Would it matter if I opened OBS through the SE.Live Shortcut or the OBS Shortcut on desktop?

I tried and am able to get to a point where it asks if I want to run the installer again and I hit yes but then the OBS window becomes unresponsive and I have to close it again. I will say, once I download SE.LIve my obs CPU usage jumps from like 12% to like 54%. not exactly sure why that is

Hi, can you help me? My animated alerts are lagging. I've already cleaned up what I could to make them as light as possible, including removing the soundtracks from the overlays, and even so the alerts still have slow animations.

As you can see, the alert animation is very fluid, but in the live stream it lags.
I have already removed the audio tracks from all of them using ffmpeg.

Is it possible to setup goals and alerts to the different streaming sources? I mean can I have different overlays on the different sources? Twitch alerts on twitch, youtube subsriber alert on youtube, follower goals and so on.

nah, the primary is just set that way due it being the account you connected with StreamElements first, or is the main platform you set up in OBS

What browser are you using?

Realistically there's only three browsers anymore:

• Blink based: Chromium, Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Iridium, Vivaldi (All of these are built from Chromium)
• Gecko based: Firefox, Midori, Tor
• WedKit based: Safari

If you're using a blink based one, StreamElements should work, if it doesn't it's probably a setting in your browser.

Morning. Found out that the youtube music gives you penalties on your streams. I got 40 of them last night on YouTube themselves. It was stupid and ridiculous because it was all public share and copy url to the spot your supposed to. I disputed all 40 of them to because it was a YouTube and fair share and all that's nuts I had never in my 8 years of streaming had never had a problem and now there's is so I might not even let music request now on streams. I am trying to explain that if you want to simulate or emulate a Twitch alert you go to the Twitch account and do the test and if you want to do a test in the YouTube alerts go to the YouTube account and do the YouTube alert test, you can not do a test in the youtube

You do not need to start session to show the alert, simply copy and paste the Overlay link in your obs and should show the alert when someone subscribes (YouTube) and follow you (Twitch) on the screen

Well not times your upload speed, but if you set 5000 bitrate x 4 = 20,000 bitrate total. So you make sure you can push that with your upload speeds.

I THINK that i figured this out.... So tiktok appears to approve different "stream keys" for different "streaming styles" so I have approval to livestream using their "live" system and using my phone directly but I do not have permission to stream using stream elements.

Hello, I hope a pro can help me — I'm willing to pay if it works. Here's my problem:

Over a month ago, I set up OBS with StreamElements and linked my Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok accounts for streaming. I didn’t go live right away, and now my TikTok live access has been revoked. I’ll share screenshots right after this. I can still stream normally on Twitch and YouTube, but for TikTok there's a red dot, so I have to request access again.

When I try, it says my TikTok access has been revoked for 30 days — even though I never went live. The weird part is, I can still go live directly through TikTok Live, so there's no issue on that side. I've already waited more than 30 days.

Nope, everything was perfectly fine on 32.0.3 obs studio. Now you guys brought out this stream elements update and it just broke everything. I cannot even start up valorant with obs open cause otherwise it's constantly stuck on loading and won't close unless I close obs first. Also because of that SE update, stream elements doesn't even show up at all on an older obs studio update. which is awesome :))))

yes I am aware, which is why I fixed it for myself and rolled back to 32.0.3 but seems like you cannot do that with stream elements. I updated streamelements this morning and it automatically put it back to that broken obs version too (31.0.2) When I rolled back obs studio back to the working version 32.0.3 stream elements just fully disappears. My browser sources that are working completely fine on the older version are also not working on the new obs version so I am just stuck now because of stream elements

I'm in the same boat, people don't realise that with the newest version of obs it doesn't even let u launch valorant with obs open btw. If you open valorant before obs u cannot even tab in and out. Once you close obs only then will your game will launch / will you be able to use task manager to even close it lmao. So window capture in this matter doesn't even do anything If you want a temporary solution; What I did is just roll back obs studio to 30.2.3 and opened my activity feed through the webpage of streamelements and popped the window out. There is nothing else u can do until they get their shiet together I also don't really understand why there isn't a rollback for this terrible update when so many people are facing issues

Assuming the email isn't being spoofed and actually came from that domain you can reply to it and support should be able to reply to it from what I'm told.

Sendgrid is a 3rd party email system for marketing emails like this that SE (and others like us) use.

Here's one of the recent emails I got from Nerd or Die (The overlays/alerts site).

Yes, on my mod-managed channels (2), the SE bot is currently no longer responding to any commands. Timers and alerts/reactions to subscriptions, however, work. Only commands don't.

Since I started using StreamElements, I’ve been facing two issues with audio tracks in OBS:
Changes Not Saving:

When I uncheck certain audio tracks for a source (e.g., Spotify), the changes don’t persist.
After restarting OBS, all tracks are automatically re-enabled.

Duplicate sources for the same thing:

Due to my different scenes, I end up with duplicate sources (e.g., 3 tracks for the same microphone).
Each scene doesn’t recognize the others’ settings/sources creating redundancy.

Do you have any solutions to:
Force OBS to save my audio track settings?
Prevent source duplication across scenes from the same Canva template?

hiii guys~ I Started using stream elements multistreaming but I believe with the latest update I can no longer split my vod audio like I used to on OBS for twitch - there is no twitch VOD track option for me.

there used to be another option under audio track - is this a bug or intended?

Considering making the switch to meld. I multi-stream to Twitch and TikTok with SE multistream. Is this something that will work on Meld as well instead of using meld’s virtual camera and having to run TikTok studio live?

As far as I know there are no plugins for Meld; whatever is installed is all you have. You would need to reach out to them about multi streaming.

It definitely looks way easier to work with, but currently you have to run TikTok studio with meld virtual camera to stream to TikTok. Kind of defeats the purpose of going to meld when you don’t have to do that with OBS.

sorry let me clarify, I have a seperate vertical canvas for youtube shorts that is setup how i want for vertical format obviously. I dont need to record my main twitch horizontal canvas but I want to automatically record the vertical canvas during my live so its alot easier to get the clips etc I need from that natively. I can obviously click the record everytime on that specific canvas i just wondered if there a way to have it automatically do that when i start stream without recording the main canvas too

It's not main, it's the active canvas in OBS. So if you switch scenes within OBS it will switch what's being recorded.

I have 3 different canvases active at once though, a main twitch one, a vertical youtube and a vertical tiktok. All 3 are active when i go live I just want the youtube vertical to record directly onto my pc

Yea, all OBS cares about is the one it considers active; it completely ignores the SE.Live plugin and what streams from there. I don't think the SE.Live plugin has any recording capabilities but I haven't looked recently.

That would be why. Overlays/alerts only work for the platform they were made for anand if you multistreaming you need multiple overlays.

i did a trial multi-stream today with twitch (default) and youtube. from what i could see the chats from both (after disabling and reenabling youtube in the multistream chat) would show on the multichat display. youtube chat did not however show up on my on-screen chat (which is from SE)

any idea why that is and how to fix?

The chat overlay is specific to the streaming platform you created it for. There is no multi chat overlay.

But for SOME reason I can't see YT chat messages in the same overlay though I see them in the Multichat dock.

well age could still make something deteriorate easier even if you don't realize it. If you take care of your things, its usually a slower process than others. There's also the time it was built to consider, too.

I have issues with SE live and TikTok stream. I stream on twitch and TikTok simultaneously. On Friday everything works fine. But yesterday, my TikTok stream has massive fps problems. Like 5 fps and the stream lagged. Twitch was fine...only TikTok stream has the issues. One day before it works smooth....yesterday it has the issues. Has anyone the same problems ?

SE.Live installer didnt tell me about a conflicting program and it wasnt able to install OBS at all along the plugin. I had to download OBS installer separately to figure out the conflicting program was NZXT CAM.

After Marvel sponsor finished, i just didnt get offered anymore. The list of available ones dissapeared. As we have mentioned, your account is not approved by TikTok for streaming via the SE.Live plugin. Please log out, log back in and wait for the TikTok approval.
