That's not how it works, they are supposed to play while you are online, streaming to people. The media request is a feature for streaming purposes, not for website use. For a website, you will need to find somewhere else, SE will not provide something like that, unfortunately.

Heyo! I need a hand but the ticket system doesn't seem to be working on my end. I just have a question.

I'm an Etsy seller, I create emotes and animated alerts for Twitch Streamers, and I'm working on a custom widget that allows chat to directly interact with it.
The source code is not my own. It's from another creator. I'm simply creating the custom animations and plugging them into the widget.
Instead of just selling the animation packs and getting my customers to do all the downloading and setup themselves, I'd like to provide them with the custom widget and the animations all already set up to go, so they can just click the link and have it downloaded to their accounts.
If the code is not my own, but the animations and setup is, am I still able to submit the widget to the Widget share forums to get the ability to share it? Or should I rebuild the code from scratch to make it my own?

I'm not much of a programmer, but this product is one I'm very excited for. I just want to make sure I'm doing things right

I've not done ane research into this, but a possible option could be to remove x points from one and then give x points to the other. you'd also need to do a check that the user has enough points, otherwise you could have issues.

If you are not seeing the OBS Twitch integrations and have SE.Live installed, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of SE.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. Start SE.Live
5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

Hello, could someone help me solving video & output settings for streaming on twitch ? I use a 3440X1440 screen and was used to set HD 1920x1080 in both fields in video menu settings (base resolution and output). But the game appears on twitch with black bars (not full screen) and I can't make it full frame. So I set the base resolution to 3440x1440 as my screen and the output too (there is no 19201080 output available when base resolution is 34401440).
But my camera being full HD only, I appeared stretched on twitch. So I put a filter on my camera source with 3340*1440 res and this time I appear normally on TWITCH but no longer on OBS (my face is stretched). Can you tell me how to adjust the base and output resolutions in OBS so that everything is correct ? It s a nightmare !! thanks a lot

To set up the bot for your YouTube stream, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
2. Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
3. Go to https://studio.youtube.com/, click on Settings > Community and add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements or https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjerlCIbLPQwSnYlClkjDXg as a Moderator.
4. When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

I'm sorry but this is literally the most obnoxious place to put this alert. I don't mind you reminding me of things, or trying to sell me on stuff every once in a while. But in OBS is the WORST spot to put this notification. And there is literally no way to make this notification stop from popping up. I actually went into my sponsors and cleared out each and every one of them and this STILL pops up in OBS every time I open it up.

I'm a UI/UX designer by trade and this is a poor outreach model that most likely got pushed through via Marketing. Like I said, I don't mind being sold to but the worst time to be sold to is in the middle of your work. Hopefully SE will rethink this placement and find alternative ways to reach out without impacting our workflow.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

MY SE Live Chat Dock and Activivity dock are stuck and cannot be moved off the screen onto another monitor etc. They are jammed at full height top to bottom with no Menu Bar or Red Close X available at the top. If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

I tried reinstalling obs from SEA but the file don't have obs to it. It keeps searching for obs after I run the installer. I gave that up, installed regular bare-bones obs, eliminating the SE extention now my issue is fixed. OBS never closed itself once. I was able to stream Killer Instinct (and other PC games) flawlessly.

my obs updated and now i just have a white screen and it won't let me login to streamelements at all

I had the white screen problem too and all of my fiance's streamelements were showing up as cloudflare prompts. we went back to our old router and it's working now.

we were using an asus RT-AX3000, now we're back to the Netgear AX1800

If you are not seeing the OBS Twitch integrations and have SE.Live installed, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of SE.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. Start SE.Live
5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

because you still have to add the actual alert to the scene

@pastel flower you need to add a html source to obs then go to your streamelements account> streaming tools>overlays>find your allerts> click on the three dots> copy url> then paste it in the html source url section.
