You need to work with something that allow alpha, like AVI, Quicktime.

i use WEBM its smallest format with best quality for streaming and web. you will need a plugin for it that you can easily google

Sketching in long scrolling format definitely helps figure out pacing and such

If you're doing a longer story pacing is an exercise in patience but it's worth it. (I have another called Shatterbound which is long)

I've used wacom for 13 years

Start with a wacom intuos, the ones without the screen are affordable

Plus i really discourage spending loads of $unless you're already making money from art
