To set up the bot for your YouTube stream, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
2. Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
3. Go to https://studio.youtube.com/, click on Settings > Community and add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements or https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjerlCIbLPQwSnYlClkjDXg as a Moderator.
4. When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

I didnt see a spot for feedback on the new queue system, so Ill put it in here. We tried to use it today on stream, and a bunch of people got error messages saying that they couldnt be added, and to reach out to support. It was a subscriber queue, and I think the problem might have been that mods and VIPs couldnt join (even though they were subs). If there is somewhere else I should post my feedback, please let me know. Also, it would be great if we could customize the queue keyword to something else.

It was because I had the custom bot name, I had it as JhonMclean, when I deleted the custom bot name in the browser console, it was solved. So... it is not possible to put a custom name to the bot?

I am having the same issue as @blazing jungle - I joined SE last night and tried to setup a last events rotator but the dashboard is completely empty and the labels all return empty values. It’s like it’s just not pulling the data from twitch. Other things like getting the emotes from chat seems to work but nothing linked to labels. Any idea how to fix it?

Turns out the dragging of items is WAY too sensitive and takes over simple clicking. It can take around 10-20 taps on the button to get lucky and finally edit. Can you fix that please?

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

2. Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3. Stop your stream/recording.

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.

Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

You can add, remove and make changes to custom commands in chat with !command/!cmd flags:

!command add (commandname) (commandresponse) - allows you to add a new custom command
!command remove (commandname) - allows you to delete a custom command
!command edit (commandname) (commandresponse) - allows you to edit an existing custom command
!command show (commandname) - allows you to see the raw response of a command before variables are used
!command options (commandname) -(flag) - allows you to change settings for an existing custom command

I am able to see them in my OBS no problem, but my chat overlay that I have set up through SE does not display the pronouns. It spits out the raw variable in chat, not the new total number

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Install OBS without letting it run after completion.
Install SE.Live and run after finishing (No need to check the OBS option).

Okay so everything is popping up on my OBS to match Streamelements but unfortunatly the actual stream elements overlay editor under Alerts is not updating even tho when you click on the expand button, it shows my edits. Specifically Cheer & Subs Alert is giving me issues. Everything else updated!
This shows the old sub icon (in the middle) & on the left you can see a snippet that the image is different in the edit section on the left.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Prime Gaming (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. I seem to be having an issue though where an alert seems to echo about 5-10 seconds later, in the same scene i have already deleted the streamlabs browser source as well and de-authorised it too. Good evening, I'm still customizing the Connection Animated Overlay and have added the browser source to SE.live and when testing the alerts in the overlay editor it activates the alert both in the editor and obs and plays the sound in the editor but not in obs. Needing help with my alerts. Last Thursday my normal alert box showed the alert video and information totally black. Yesterday I hid that one and added a default alert box onto my overlay and that is completely black too. I don't know how to fix this. I uninstalled OBS and SE.live and reinstalled them and it still did it. Refreshed the source, deleted the browser source and added it back, turned off hardware acceleration and restarted OBS. Nothing helped. Clips for examples.
