Before you do, can you try this:

1) Login with your account
2) Create (or request) invite in account where you want import it account with Editor or Full Control access
3) Accept invite on your accout
4) Then go to "My Overlays" page and click to "Import from other channels" button

Since both channels are yours, granting editor / full control access isn't that dangerous.

Hello, I recently noticed my Browser Source for my alerts is not working. When I load up OBS there is a coding that appears right where my alert box is located. I have attached a screenshot. I have removed the source and added it back and it still does the same thing. I have gone into Streamelements and tested my alerts and they work just fine there

Bot is not on your channel (although you added it as a moderator). Go to Streamelements Dashboard (https://streamelements.com/dashboard) and click on "Join Channel" on the right side of the screen.
In case you don't have "Join Channel" button, click on "Part Channel", wait some seconds and then click on "Join Channel".
The bot will send a message on your chat informing they are running. Then you can check if the command is working

Hello, I have a question regarding how store item cooldowns work. I understand if too many people are trying to redeem a store item, the item goes on cooldown to prevent the item from being oversold. Sometimes when I click retry, I get the message regarding this item cooldown. Other times, the cooldown message doesn't even load at all and the window is blank. Once that cooldown message disappears upon clicking retry, does clicking retry again still retry to buy the item? Or does the disappearing of the message mean that any retry past that point won't work?

To reset goals:

  • from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
  • from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Well, I don't know. Someone else had this problem and resetting the nvidia settings to default solved it. But you can try this before resetting the nvidia settings to default.

1. Close OBS Studio.
2. Find your OBS Studio shortcut, either on your desktop or in your start menu (Right click -> Open file location).
3. Right click on it and select "Properties".
4. Go to the "Compatibility tab".
5. Click "Change high DPI settings".
6. Tick "Override high DPI scaling behavior".
7. In the dropdown, change it to "System (Enhanced)".
8. Click OK to exit out of the scaling settings.
9. Click OK to save the new properties.
10. Launch OBS Studio as you normally would.

hey, so i have mediashare set up, but it is really really quiet. when i up the volume so i can hear it better, it gets SUPER loud for my stream, so i either can have it so that i cant hear it and the stream can, or that i can hear it and the stream REALLY can and it blows their ears out. anyone know any fixes for this issue?

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

I have a very high powered gaming laptop but after i upgraded to windows 11, it appears my FPS is so low, it's impossible to have any decent live streaming experience. Anyone else know how I can get better FPS while OBS is on? When OBS is off, the FPS is normal. Asus Zephyrus Duo Intel i9 32 GB RAM, RTX 2080 GPU, turbo mode is on but no help.

not sure if this is an issue with SE.live or twitch, sorry if i'm in the wrong place! i think i've followed all the necessary steps to change the chat bot name, but after i log into my bot account from the popup in OBS/SE.Live, the popup disappears and nothing happens. the settings dock still says "connect custom bot account" like i haven't just done it

i've got OBS most recent version and SE.Live plugin most recent stable version, the SE bot is a mod in my channel, i've got the tips link in my panels, and the Setup Bot & Tipping option says i'm good to go. is there something i'm missing or still need to do? ty!!

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

  1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
  2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
  3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
  4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
  5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
  6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I'm having issues with a custom emote in Kappagen. For some reason, whenever one of my particular emotes is used, it's also lumping the custom StreamElements rocket ship with it. It only happens with this particular emote. My custom emotes area has nothing in it, so I'm not sure what's going on here. Quite troublesome.

Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

Hey 👋

Is there any update about delays for twitch to stream elements alerts? I see some posts from others of the same issue.

It's random as some days it's fine and others there can be up to 1-2min delay in the sub/bit alert showing in the streamelements activity feed but they show in other feeds instantly so the issue seems to be with streamelements and not twitch.

Just the default AFAIK, wouldn't that still work though? There's no variation for 5 bits, its just a default alert but still played the TTS, even though it's been set to 50 minimum

Hello,
I have a bit of a problem. Today I wanted to switch from streaming to Youtube to streaming to Twitch. I did all the auto setup for Twitch and even the bandwidth check and applied all the settings for it, but OBS still tries to stream to Youtube for some reason and even changes the streaming settings to custom.

How can I get SE to whisper or send no response when I add points to user? Its spamming my stream so much.

I switched to SE from SL due to the store looking clean. But not my chat is all spammed.
When I send the command it is already telling the user that I am adding the points.
Its very redundant to state the same information twice.!

Set the image layout settings to the third one in the alerts settings (see image) and make the alert box itself bigger.
Then adjust the text size in the alert settings under text settings.
And in the alert settings under text settings under Advanced set the margins to navigate the text to the correct position.
You can also use negative values in the margin settings.

Hello! I am using SE.live with OBS studio and I recently enabled anti-aliasing in my nVidia Control Panel. After doing that, the text gets blurry in the Chat dock as well as the Twitch Activity Feed dock. The text temporarily becomes clear again if I highlight it, but when the dock loses focus, the text goes blurry again. Is there anything I can do to fix this? (anti-aliasing is needed for the games I'm streaming)

Your error can happen if you updated OBS for a long time only with the internal updater instead of the full installer. Sometimes, the browser source gets lost with the internal updater.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).
