If this happens again, please part the bot from your dashboard > logout of StreamElements at https://streamelements.com/logout > log in again > re-invite the bot > mod it by typing /mod StreamElements in your Twitch chat (make sure it's not muted).

Also, the current broadcaster name should not be showing in User management - this is intended.
I've reset your current user level and it is set to be broadcaster.

You can check by writing !level name (introduce your name) in your chat.

Hi, I'm having trouble with my alert sounds.

My alerts are set up properly (afaik) and they do appear on stream, but the audio for the alerts doesn't play. I've tried routing it through my wave link 3, changing the monitor/output, controlling the volume via OBS, etc. and it seems no matter what the alert audio refuses to play on stream. I can hear the alert sounds when I am monitoring, but when I'm recording or streamign they aren't heard.

Well, you probably did the step 4 wrongly. Maybe you used MS Excel, Google Sheets or something like that and not a text file like a notepad, for example. Let me detail a little more the step 4:

4.1 - Copy the text from the right side where it says STDOUT | STDERR
4.2 - Open the notepad on your computer (WINKEY + R > notepad.exe)
4.3 - Paste the content you copied on step 4.1
4.4 - Click on menu File > Save and put the name "import.csv"
4.5 - Before clicking on "Save" button, select "All files (*.*)" option from "Save as type" right below the file name.
4.6 - Click on "Save"

After that you can import using SE Import tool.

Hello StreamElements team! I recently switched to StreamElements from Moobot and I'm enjoying it so far. I have one problem though: when taking song requests from youtube while i stream, the queue does not auto play. Once a song ends, the next one is loaded but is paused and does not play unless i manually start the video. The autoplay slider is turned on in settings in OBS (not using a widget), but it still does not autoplay. If y'all can help me figure out the problem, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

A twitch streamer that I frequent that uses Streamlabs has an odd issue where cheermotes are not correctly replaced in the plaintext version of the message in the chat widget. It seems like it only replaces one cheermote image, and does so at the beginning of the message instead of where the cheermote actually is in the message.

So in this example "Corgi1 " (including space) has 7 characters, and it removed the first 7 characters of "Sad though that ..." leaving "[ICON]ugh that ..." and only did so for one of the cheers, and not the rest.

Oddly enough other non-cheer emotes appear and animate correctly in their chat widget.

Is there any chance this is a known issue or an easy fix?

I notice that the boss gain 10% HP more than the previous one, but I want him to increase 25% HP more than the previous. Hello, I have 2 Media Request issues I would like help on please.

1. The default volume is too low and I have to set the volume with the slider. How to I make this the new default please?

Hiya, wanted to post a bug report here regarding the StreamElements popout Activity Feed.

Apparently when used in OBS (i am using standard OBS, without SE.Live), the browser source continuously eats up RAM until I kill the browser process. This screenshot is from having the browser source active for 12 hours. Already using 1.4GB, but ive seen it hit 5GB as well. This is the only browser source URL that does this

It also almost constantly is using roughly 2% of my CPU.

I dont understand why it would be using this much processing power to do nothing more than listen for WebSocket messages.

My solution is to not use it as a Dock or Source Dock, and instead only use it as a browser source in OBS itself, and limit its framerate to 1fps to reduce the impact it has

and just to give context to my saying that 2% is a lot of processing power. At "idle", all of my **19 ** other obs-browser-page processes use 0.01% or below according to Task Manager.

0 - 0.1% average per second vs 2.0% average per second

But thats separate from the RAM issue. My rough guess is that garbage collection isnt able to do its job, possibly due to incoming websocket messages not being unreferenced after being used... but thats a lot of websocket messages over 12 hours to add up to nearly 1.5GB of RAM

The Bot (StreamElemts Account) has to be Sub to use your Emotes. Basically just gift a Subscription to the StreamElements on your Twitch chat and the Emotes will be displayed normally for as long as the Bot is Sub. Only Subs can use Emotes (except some Follower emotes, don't know how to get the Bot to follow, so Sub it is) on Twitch Chats. Everyone else will only write the names of the emote.

On (first) connection of StreamElements Tip-Page with the Twitch account one will be looped back to the original Tip-Page (empty) with the parameter ?comingFromOntip=true in the URL. Something is broken at that point as the Donation Button is disabled/grayed out. ||In the site there is really a css-class Mui-disabled twice and the tag disabled="" for the button tag. Also is the collor sheme the css-class css-lqat4d instead of the class css-2rs2az as well as the button has the tab index -1 instead of 0. All this is ok, as the button also has no action even when I make it clickable by hand.|| When one reloads the site like it is nothing changes. Only if you remove the ?comingFromOntip=true from the URL and reload the site (or close it and open it in new tab with the original link) one will get the button normal working. At some point I got it working even with the ?comingFromOntip=true in the URL but I don't know why and wasn't able to replicate it.
You can easily test the problem by deleting site data (C&C) of StreamElements and reconnect with the Tip button on any streamers donation site (preferable not your own, there the bug is buggy xD ). Confirmed it with different others who had the same problem. Don't know if everyone has that problem.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I'm trying to implement an overlay that I purchased from another company but the animated icons that are a part of the free overlay I had been using are way better! The issue I have is that I would need to download the webm files to properly add color correction in obs for them to match the color branding I'm using at this point.

So I guess what I'm asking is wether or not I can download the assets that I need from the site so I can apply the filter to make them work for me? Or if I have to keep them as a part of the browser overlay system?

The all-time information is currently correct, but it was not yesterday and the days before.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

To reset goals:

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

I believe twitch's own thing says it can take up to 48 hours sometimes for goals/achievements to get updated and reflect progress like that. 🤔

No, you just need to have the bot in your channel so it would be able to track the data to add to SE stats page

It was instructed that you perform a logout/login on Streamelements menu on your OBS
Streamelements menu, on top of OBS > Logout > Login.
This will make the authorization token to be regenerated

It can take a while, but some times the users need to go to SE website and reconnect their Twitch accounts again after changing the name. Ask them to do that. https://streamelements.com/logout. Just need to login in there and close the webpage.
Also, the user should run the !rename command on your chat so the bot will correctly track it again

Hey, not entirely sure if this is the correct spot to ask, but I have been having issues where people hosts aren't showing an alert or even showing in my Twitch event list in OBS I have a stream elements overlay with host alerts turned on, but they aren't activating.

I did a bit of searching but nothing shows for host alerts not triggering

We have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Hello people! I play a lot of games on my stream and I reward the winner of the game with points using !addpoints. But there has been a known issue for years where !addpoints @inner pivot 10 will show @inner pivot not found. But if I use !givepoints @inner pivot 10 it works just fine. To get !addpoints to work I have to remove the @ from their username. I tried setting up a custom command to do this but it won't listen to the bot telling itself to add points.
