When I go to User Management my old username is listed as the broadcaster. I have tried having the bot leave the chat, signing out and back in, remodding the bot and also did !level username 100 and nothing has changed. The old name was “the_worldcomingdown” and it should be “WorldComingDown_”

there's a way to remove the old username but the new one won't show up, in any case, you'll still have broadcaster level under your new name

If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.

Heya 🙂 This isn't a problem as such - Just a question really. We are doing a 24hr Charity Stream on Saturday using GoFundMe for the donations. I have the GoFundMe by TX overlay set up and using the test button, it works fine on my stream. As a number of us will be streaming, will that same overlay URL be ok for ALL the streams to use even if I am not streaming at the time ? Hopefully someone knows what I am talking about !!!

If you're putting it in at 1920 x 1080, and the overlay is set to that size as well, the there's something on the software side cutting it of. In OBS, CTRL + F should force it to fit the size of the screen you have set

that is correct. There should be a 'log' in the console when that widget loads so you can check (verify) the info. You can see that in the overlay editor on Chrome and press CTRL+SHIFT+J

This is a separate command. You would need to turn off the media request and clear the queue or turn off the !play command in that case.

The viewer request option just turns off the request option itself, not the playback options for videos that are already in the queue.

Our file size limit is 30MB exactly, but we recommend staying below it. You would need to export or encode the video with a smaller file size at the end to use it on our platform

In that case we would recommend to export the video again from the source file with slightly lower bitrate settings to fit into the size requirement. Most converters i know will kill the alpha channel information - so you lose the transparency.

Hello, i got a problem w OBS. I already updated it like 5 times this is still popping up. After the first update i lost everything, twtich chat, my twtich logs, etc.. Hey, I have been having issues with my bitrate on stream which jumps from 8000 - 0 around 4-5 times during random periods. During this time, my game and internet are both fully functional. Check the banned games on Twitch, there is a list. Not familiar with that title. And of course some common sense, if the game is not banned on Twitch, it can still be problematic.
Just checked my Steam, it is not even listed as available in Portugal, so i doubt it is a good idea to bring that content to Twitch

This is normal. If you are not a Twitch partner, you do not get the quality selection all the time, only Partners have it guaranteed.

Everyone else is getting it once the server capacity allows it. It is not random - higher viewer numbers will increase the chances to get the quality options on stream.

I know about the banned games list on Twitch, and it’s not there, nor is it on Steam as it’s a Japanese game just recently translated by a 3rd party company, which means it has little to no chance of appearing on Steam. • Click on the lock and go to cookies > remove all cookies from that page
• Reload the page using CTRL + F5
• Login again with your Twitch account

Check if that works for you

If you are not seeing the OBS Twitch integrations and have SE.Live installed, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of SE.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)

4. Start SE.Live

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hey I'm having some issues with the alert box widgets, specifically for DonorDrive widget! Can anyone help?

It's connected fine, it works, however:

1. It won't play any sound when the alert goes off (however, the same sound on other alerts is working perfectly)
2. If someone donates, the alert won't play until the next person donates. But that person's alert won't play until the next person donates... so the alerts are forever completely off. I don't know whats happened

I'm doing a charity event over the next few days and it's causing issues, if someone can help I'd appreciate it

Hey there, do you happen to have "shutdown source when not visible" checked or the "refresh when not in use" active on your overlays?

Also, if you have alertboxes with all alerts on each overlay, it may be causing duplicates that way. I would recommend creating the alerts as their own separate overlay and adding them as a browser source and removing them from any previous overlays.

this alert is one that I got custom written but it DID work a month ago, and it worked for 3 months. It's separate from my other alerts, (subs, follows, etc) which is why those work?? maybe??

and, it still works in the SE website preview and the audio still works but it's not showing

its supposed to be a full screen confetti gif and sound that plays when I meet a follow & sub goal, and the sound works, and the gif works in the SE preview, but not in OBS

and so I thought, "well, maybe i have it behind something," but all the other sources above it are small ones that are occasional (SoundAlerts widget, stuff like that)

Another quick bot question that the variables list isn't helping me much with. Is it possible with the count option to take a number from the chat command as a variable on how much to incremement it? ie: !count 13 and have the bot command do ${count test +13}? Not finding a combination of options to permit this.

that $(1) will be the number after your !count ## usage

Do I need to add anything special to the command name as well other than just !count? I added that string to the response text but it's not doing anything and just displaying the string verbatim.

Yeah, I tried variations on that too. ${count test +"${1}"} but still nothing. I think we're good with setting the absolute value though. That's a far sight better than trying to add like 50+ deaths one by one. 😛
