If you are not seeing the OBS Twitch integrations and have SE.Live installed, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of SE.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. Start SE.Live
5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

up until the recent obs update I had a bot media source and activity feed.... been asking for help last 4 days and yet to get a reply...... on opening obs yesterday a panel (twitch activity) opened up and i have to put username password (twitch) each time i open obs... for my own bot everyone is instructed to click on the 3 bar tab in twitch activity and navigate to bot settings... i dont have this 3 bar tab.... any thoughts please

You can add, remove and make changes to custom commands in chat with !command/!cmd flags:

!command add (commandname) (commandresponse) - allows you to add a new custom command
!command remove (commandname) - allows you to delete a custom command
!command edit (commandname) (commandresponse) - allows you to edit an existing custom command
!command show (commandname) - allows you to see the raw response of a command before variables are used
!command options (commandname) -(flag) - allows you to change settings for an existing custom command

You can update, just be sure that the update is stable. Major releases with a major version jump can be tricky, so we recommend to wait 1-2 weeks to update.

The version jumped from 27.1.3 to 27.2 and this is big, so a few things are not working as expected yet.

Hi there,
I run a drums and DJ stream on Twitch and I want to setup the Media Request queue so I can play along to the videos, however I use a laptop for all the audio sources and a PC for the actual stream.

I have managed to get it to display the video using the Show Stream button & a Browser Source in OBS as you're supposed to, however because of the latency I can't use the audio output on the OBS side, I have to have it output from the laptop and send the mixed signal from there so there's no latency when I'm performing.

This wouldn't be a problem, however for totally understandable reasons it forces the video on the Media Request page into mute and snaps the volume back to 0 when you try to override it.

I appreciate it's a niche case, and I've rinsed Google to the best of my abilities, but I can't find a solution anywhere, so I'm hoping someone here might be able to give me some advice.

I've tried disconnecting streamelements from twitch (via account on twitch) and then reconnecting by logging in again on streamelements and authorizing streamelements for twitch.

I have logged out of my twitch account in OBS studio and logged back in. I have double checked the URL for the browser source. Everything was working fine during my last stream.

How to separate Media Request (MR) audio in OBS:

MUTE MR FOR YOURSELF, STREAM CAN HEAR

1. Make a new overlay in the editor, ONLY add the Media Request widget.
2. Add a new browser source in OBS, add the URL and set the dimensions correctly.
3. Tick the box for Control audio via OBS
4. Go to Edit > Advanced Audio, set your MR overlay to Monitor Off. Note: This will play through the Desktop Audio, if you mute your desktop audio, it will mute the MR.

CONTROL AUDIO SEPARATELY FROM YOU AND STREAM

1. For this you will need a VAC (use command !vac).
2. Run your MR either in Chrome or in Ground Control (use command !gc). Note: Do NOT click on SHOW ON STREAM.
3. Set Chrome or GC in the VAC as an audio input and output.
4. Add the audio output from VAC as an audio input in OBS. Note: This will not be able to show the video in OBS.

If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.
To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.

The main issue is it's an echo with the audio, I followed the steps in that screenshot and it did not work.

I don't think twitch, or bots, or streamlabs or streamelements is going to keep up data from users for their watch or view time per month, or per year. Keep in mind, when you end the stream, stream elements allready resets data after 15 minutes. This you can turn off. But for a whole month. I'm not sure. Don't think so.

Regarding emotesplosions, is it possible to create a custom command to be used by mod that triggers based on command? I’ve been able to create a command but I only get 5 of the emote.

In overlay settings, there is the option for number of emotes but the list of trigger events is static.

Ever since the last OBS update 27.2.0 and the immediate "SE.Live" update that appeared to follow, I now have to login to Twitch everytime I launch OBS/SE.Live or I do not get the appropriate docks for Twitch. The Twitch connection remains, but the associated docks do not. Duplicating or changing a working profile immediately breaks it, and requires another Twitch login. Having identified a relationship of this issue with SE.Live, I uninstalled SE.Live. Now OBS works as expected. Will there be a fix to SE.Live to resolve this? I know I am not the only one encountering this issue. Please advise.

Reposting cause it’s still not working. Hi! I had custom auto commands I put into my chat for a specific game. After streaming on twitch I realized I hadn’t turned them off but when I tried stream elements continued posting them. I tried deleting the custom commands all together but for some reason they still show up in my chat. I don’t want to have to keep putting stream elements in time out 🤣 what more can I do?

I tried it again just now and I was able to see the command there now after disconnecting and reconnecting my twitch. Is there a way to have Store Perks Redeem have the user's Twitch name and not mine in the appear in the activity feed? Whenever a store perk is redeemed it shows my username that redeemed it. I like using the store perk to show gifs and sounds on stream via redemption but I just need it to be able to show me who redeems it.

Firstly, Thank You for adding Donor Drive support in Stream Elements! Is there some extra step needed to get the event data from Donor Drive to flow through the JWT token?

I use a mod in a game that reads events using JWT for game updates and those are not showing up. Nor do the donations show up on the Activity Feed.

To clarify, I am aware that DonorDrive only pushes data when you are live on Twitch.

Hello! I am looking to implement Loyalty Point Ranks to my loyalty points through Streamelements! I did this back in 2016 with Ankhbot, where different point thresholds had different ranks (0-X points is Rank A, X-Y points is Rank B, etc). There is no general ranking option in streamelements, but is this something I could implement as a custom command? If so, do you know how I would do that? My initial thought is a basic if/then command of if it is X threshold then it is A rank, and have a bunch of different options per rank. Not sure how or if that can be implemented through this bot

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

Youtube seems to work ok for me. I've tried on multiple browsers and devices, as well as my mobile phone on 5g but I get the same results. I get to a white screen that says click here to redirect and it sends me back to the home page

you can set another alias on SE site at Chat commands. As for me, just an emote after the command and it works. It should be any emote as long it appears visible in your chat

Hello! I am looking to implement Loyalty Point Ranks to my loyalty points through Streamelements! I did this back in 2016 with Ankhbot, where different point thresholds had different ranks (0-X points is Rank A, X-Y points is Rank B, etc). There is no general ranking option in streamelements, but is this something I could implement as a custom command? If so, do you know how I would do that? My initial thought is a basic if/then command of if it is X threshold then it is A rank, and have a bunch of different options per rank. Not sure how or if that can be implemented through this bot

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but SE.Live isn't working with Twitch at all. Whenever I go live on YouTube, it's easy and takes seconds. But when I try to start streaming with Twitch, it won't let me go live, it keeps bringing up YouTube live settings even though I changed the settings to Twitch and connected my account.

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

If you are not seeing the OBS Twitch integrations and have SE.Live installed, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of SE.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. Start SE.Live
5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name

Hmm, if you removed the cookies, maybe you can try to unlink your account from Twitch and authorizing again:

• https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections
• Look for Streamelements in that page (maybe you will find two of them if you use the SE extension on Twitch panels) and click on Disconnect.
• Go back to Streamelements and ask to connect again with your Twitch account. Check if it will ask for permissions again and approve it.

Problem solved, thanks for guiding. I found Twitch sets the default language through your login IP, I'm using HK proxy, so it sets Chinese. Using a US proxy and re-login will solve this issue. This is Twitch's fault.
