Can anyone help with SE Alert widget please ? I have a used the Variations option for various Sub options, but I use a completely different Animation for Gifted Subs so need it in a separate widget.

In theory I should be able to toggle off/delete the Gifted Sub variation in my standard Sub Alert widget & add a second Widget with ONLY the Gift Sub variation toggled on yes ?

This works for the 2nd Gift Sub only Widget, but the 1st Widget for some reason is still activating the standard Sub Alert when a Gifted Sub is given !

So both Widgets go off, the correct 2nd one showing the Gifted Sub Alert & the incorrect 1st one showing a standard Sub Alert.

I’m totally stuck now !

Hey there, i was doing some research on how to improve my pc's performance, and on reddit i saw reference to the discord so i figured id ask here. The thing im wondering about is, with a low cpu, is it okay to use multiple scenes? I saw another article on performance that detailed its best to have just one "browser source" and it showed a gif image of someone selecting all their sources and placing them into one. But then on reddit they said their performance improved when having different browser sources for each element. 😬 So im still looking for an answer on this

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I have a label for latest subscriber, and I have it scrolling just in case the username is too long for my bounding box. By default, the space between the end and start of the username is really big, to the point where there's a stretch of time where there's no text at all scrolling across the screen.

Is there a way to minimize the gap space between the end and start of the username being scrolled?

Hello, I am having issues with the alerts.
I changed my name around the end of december and since then my alerts only work for the followers one. So if I get a follower the alert works, but with everything else (cheers, subs, gift subs etc) nothing happens.
As well my dashboard only shows me the followers I gain and not the bits I receive or the subs.
I've tried everything but I'm still not able to fix it.
My old name was BlueeSkuull and now its bluewitchy

From what I know, cookies are parameters your browser sends to the server with HTTP requests to provide it with a state (or complement its state).
I can't see how changing them in one browser could have any effect whatsoever on another browser even, let alone another machine and account altogether.

So i tried to relogin the bot account. I do get the email from twitch notifying login success, but for some reason it doesn't login or save in obs.live/streamelements.

Found you can relog using the twitch chat dock open if you use that. Not ideal, but it does help you log back in. You just need to log back in every single time your open OBS though.

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Hey my !watchtime command has been not working for a while, my other variable commands and commands in general work perfectly fine except this one, i've tried disable/reanabling it, setting certain permissions and testing the different options but nothing is working.

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Good day, I am currently having a problem with a twitch overlay. I have a sub count (Last 30 days) that says 404 but my actual twitch subcount is 436. I have reset session data multiple times and double checked if it is on calendar timing (start of the month) or relative timing, and It is on relative timing.

Also in widget data, under totals, it does show that my total subscribers is 436 but in the overlay it still shows 404. Although under aggregates it shows that the last 30 days subscribes is 404.

Does anyone have a solution to this? Thank you.

I figured it out, I'm actually dumb. Usually the monthly sub count and total sub count are exactly the same but I'm guessing because this month has 28 days it only shows the amount of subs in the last 28 days instead of 30. I changed the widget to a total sub count and we gucci now. I'm gonna leave this here just in case anyone else is confused by it.

I've been trying to configure the Alpha Gaming Rotating Feed to display Session Followers and Session Followers Goal but I didn't manage to get it working.

So my goal was to make Event 1 display latest follower (that Is working as intended) and on Event 2 I wanted to display the session followers/session followers goal such as "FOLLOWERS 0/100".

The thing is even if I select "Followers this session" in Event 2 and add a {amount} or {count} it doesn't work properly. It seems that it is showing me random numbers.

Is there a specific variable to get session followers (not the javascript one, I know you can get that using javascript).

Hi, I just updated my OBS 27.1 with StreamElements. When I did, it updated to OBS 27.2, and now OBS keeps dropping docks and not properly saving profiles.
In particular it's completely dropping the stream information dock and removing the option to view it unless I disconnect from Twitch and reconnect every time.
Then when I try to actually use OBS, it seems to be crashing every time within 5 minutes.
I've only tried streaming this with one game (Star Citizen) but prior to adding StreamElements I had no problems, no profile issues, no dock issues and no crashes.
Are these known issues?

1 - It is not possible. If you try to open two streams, the one you open first will be running and the second will only take place once you finish the first one.
2 - You can't, each channel has its own points leaderboard. You would need to create your own code using SE API for that

As regards your image, you first need to go to Streamelements overlay editor, and change the follower alert to use your image. In case you have done that already and the text is not appearing, it is because of the text placement. On your alert, go to Text Settings > Advanced, and change the value of Margin top (it is 50 by default, try to change it to 0 to start and emulate a new follow)

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Well, the sub goal works properly, sort of. It shows total sub count if I have that set as the thing to display, but won't do a weekly or anything else.
The event list widget doesn't actually work while in stream. Works for testing, but I guess Google didn't wanna send that info? idk

So I'm still having the same issue I was having yesterday, my SE.live does not have the option to alter my stream title and game info etc. I tried logging out and back in but it did not fix it. Has been this way since I updated obs and se.live

Looked through previous posts, and there are dozens upon dozens of people who have asked the question of -
'Media request has autoplay enabled, but I need to manually play the next song every time!' or vice versa.
There's only been 1 actual response in the past 2 months (by what discord results is tellin me) which was 'its an issue actively being worked on, wait for a day'.
I've had this issue for months (6+) and have forgone using media request widget, asked in here a couple of times half a year ago to no avail.
Is there some sort of underlying conspiracy how all of the same requests are getting ghosted or something? Media share quite simply isn't working as intended for so many people, isn't there a way to address this??

if ur using base obs with se.live, the stream information dock isn't a streamelements dock, you'll find it in your 'view' -> 'docks' -> 'stream information'. Alternatively, although much more clunky, you can also edit stream title in the settings section of your Activity feed, however I don't much recommend that.

Additionally, SE ground control's replica media request system works as intended, so it boggles me as to why the media request dock is somehow broken?
Also, as another layer of salt, the fact that you can ban but not unban from media request is silly. I've heard the only way to get somebody unbanned is to put in a support ticket? thats ridiculous... I really do love StreamElements and would take it over StreamLabs every day of the week but cmon' man music is a huge part of the stream environement

We have been repeated looking into media request to work on bug fixes, and thee should have been a recent patch that allow autoplay to work properly. You may have to remove and re-add the media request elements for it to patch

I've reinstalled SE.live fully a handful of times at this point, same with obs. Just did both again, even making sure I'm on the beta branch. It's still broken in the same ways as it was 6 months ago. Actually, its very slightly less broken. Now, media request will properly resume (after a handful of seconds) after the song ends, if I have both the widget and the browser manager open. Whole point of widget is that I don't use browser, otherwise I'd just have continued using YT/Spotify, so this isn't a fix/workaround for me.

after a night of googling i'm here to try and find a fix for this problem!! i just updated my mac to monterey and it no longer detects my logitech b525 cameras (i use two of them). well it detects them and then immediately thinks they have been disconnected, making it impossible to select them as a source in OBS. actually when i get fast enough to click on it before the dropdown closes, it crashes OBS! not sure what to do now or how to get macos to allow these cameras again 😮 any ideas guys?

Either way, I think you would need to ask the viewer to go to https://streamelements.com/logout and ask them to login with their twitch account.

I'd like to migrate my alerts from Streamlabs to Streamelements. I tried using the tool which imports alerts, but it seems to be outdated. The alerts are a little janky, but much worse is that it doesn't migrate my 100+ alert variations.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

hello! having an issue with the overlay editor - when I try to add a widget nothing happens, the menu stays open and the widget doesn't appear in the panel (although it does show in the layers as if something has happened). When I try to emulate in OBS nothing happens either. When I try to edit existing overlays I get an 'uh oh, overlay doesn't exist' error. I've tried multiple browsers, on mac and windows, have disconnected and reconnected my twitch account and uninstalled/reinstalled SE.live and OBS - i'm totally stuck 😦 I found a couple of posts on the r/twitch subreddit of the same issue but no one ever found a resolution. hoping I'm just doing something stupid!
