Hello, I Need help with streaming from my xbox one.
I get the alerts to work and i am able to switch scenes but HOW do I get the game to show? It’s only showing the loading screen with a little man watching tv. (Directly from Xbox, not via pc)

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

i tried to make a dad joke command.
as i am german it is meant to respond when someone writes "ich bin xyz" with "hallo ich bin, ich bin dad"
can i somehow make it so that i return everything after the regex part?
so when someone writes. "hey ho hi ich bin witzig" i can do something like ${2:} and it contains everything after "ich bin" no matter how many words are before the "ich bin"

Hello! Is there a known issue with the extension store authentication at the moment? Myself, and all users, get a Not Found page within the extension after granting permission to the twitch user id. The external store page on the streamelements site works fine, just authenticating within the extension seems broken

After the Not Found page error within the extension frame, if you reload the page, the extension is logged in as the broadcaster for everyone. Completely. They are able to redeem things using the broadcasters account balance.

Hey - no matter what i do , my chatbot continues to TTS the action (ie. username has gifted x subs to viewers, they have gifted x subs in the channel). I have ticked off all the options to TTS the action, including in the variations..I even ticked it back on, saved, exited it, then unticked it again, saved and exited out...

Hey so I had this bizarre issue the other day when streaming:
Someone subscribed and it was completely ignored by SE. Someone else subscribed only a couple minutes later and that was immediately picked up. Days later, the first person who subscribed still isn't being recognised by SE, thus I have no proper alert for it and it's completely missing in my SE analytics/activity

Some context:
The person who subscribed had subscribed in the past. Their last sub month was over 2 years ago, and this "resubscribe" is their 5th month overall. I don't see why this wouldn't be in activity as I do have resubscriptions enabled, attached image shows it's enabled and should display.

It is possible that the person did not share the subscribe on chat, so SE would not be able to pick up that. SE is only able to trigger an alert or add it to activity feed if the information is shared by the user.
Also, it is possible that the person used the Prime subscription and sometimes the share button does not appear on chat, the user needs to refresh the page for that

Thanks, but I don't think that's it. I know it wasn't Prime, and it also wouldn't have been something like that as they had been unsubscribed for 2 years. I believe they would've gone through the regular subscription process, Twitch just remembers that they had been subbed previously

So maybe SE failed to capture the subscription during that time (bot went down for a quick moment, maybe). If the user shared the subscription using the "Share" button like the image and it appeared on the chat (from Twitch message), it is the only thing I can think.
The last subscription being 2 years ago does not have any impact on it, so don't worry about that.

SE gets information about subscriber to generate alerts and register them on activity field from Twitch chat:

Prime Gaming (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. For Prime Gaming, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. There is Twitch API and I'm sure SE uses that for many things, but if the user does not share publicly they subscribed, SE will not make an alert for that.

The private option is only for Prime subscription, but for the paid subscription, if the user does not click on "Share" button on the chat, it will not trigger the alert

No, the first sub does not have that button. But it doesn't matter if it is after years, if they had subscribed with the same account 9 years ago for the first time, the next subscription will show as resubscription and Twitch will show that button, so the user can share it and write a message.
But, if the user does not click on Share button only Twitch will know they subscribed at that moment.

As an example: I have a subscription in a channel that renews every 1st day of the month. But I only click on Share on the 3rd or 4th day. And that's the moment when SE triggers the alert on the livestream (however, my subscription was paid on the 1st)

i switched it back to streamelements and it works

Hi there, I'm new to mediashare, just set it up and the backup playlist works great. When people request a song, it shows for half a second and then skips to the next song in the backup playlist. I'm guessing maybe it has to do with the loyalty points for the request perhaps? Is there a way to set it to work with regular Twitch channel points? I'd rather not have both, so I have loyalty points disabled, but I'd like song requests to use channel points. Is this possible?

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

I am trying to use a streamlabs alert box on my OBS which worked fine until i installed SE.live, now it isn't working. I can take the URL from my browser source, paste it in a web browser and it works fine. But in my OBS I don't get any alerts. This problem only appears to happen with streamlabs widgets and not with other browser sources

I tried to import the alertbox to streamelements using the tool inside SE.live, but that got stuck in the 'import in progress' page

Is there a (timing) fix on how to always show people following through alerts cause I had an issue where people consecutively followed me but only one showed on screen at a time, I thought it would fade out and continue with the other follow alert but nothing came up.

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Hi there, I'm new to mediashare, just set it up and the backup playlist works great. When people request a song, it shows for half a second and then skips to the next song in the backup playlist. I'm guessing maybe it has to do with the loyalty points for the request perhaps? Is there a way to set it to work with regular Twitch channel points? I'd rather not have both, so I have loyalty points disabled, but I'd like song requests to use channel points. Is this possible?

I am not sure a relog would work, as the settings are not effected by a login. I am no expert, but I have noticed myself that sometimes SE is really laggy or stops for a couple of minutes, but always return on its own. Next time it doesn't work, you could try to part the bot and let the bot rejoin the chat, maybe that helps to reset it.

I've just changed the setting over under "Widget data" regarding monthly/weekly aggregation from "Relative Timing" to "Calendar Timing" and I've gotten the error "Error, Could not recalculate totals." Ok so the chat would clear for all viewers, because that is what betterttv is. Think of it like this, it's a browser plugin for chrome or any other browser you use. It has it's own bot and settings. Therefore whatever the bot does in your chat, everyone will see because the chat is public

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

okay so I have now fooled around with this. I use Ground Control to play my media because it integrates nicely as a separate audio source into my OBS. I went to the media request on the SE site and requested songs and the browser accepted the songs. after that Ground Control also started accepting songs.

Still having issues with my alerts not going off when live, even though all the emulation tests work. I at least usually will get sub alerts, but raid alerts don't work.

The Twitch item alert doesn't work at all except for the message highlight, no other redeem triggers it. Again, it works in testing via emulation, but doesn't do anything when the event happens live.

I'm also still having the same issues with the hype cup (custom bit images do not work and do not replace the Twitch emotes).

Edit: you could check to do at least 101 and then at least 110 to go back to your normal alert if that is what you are looking for

here's my problem by example: i have 3 x 1 bit alerts with TTS disabled. they're all set to 'at least' and 33% chance to play. i then have 2 x 10 bit alerts with TTS enabled set to 'at least' and 50% chance to play. the problem comes when someone spends 10+ bits and it randomly plays one of the 1 bit alerts and doesn't play the TTS. this could be solved by either 1) allowing a range (e.g. 1-9 bits) instead of 'at least'/'exact' or 2) having a universal TTS rule that overrides the variation settings. it's a logic issue and should be raised with the devs.

I have a question. My SEPAY balance was full but I could not withdraw the money because of a mistake made on the side of SE. Because of that mistake I could not withdraw my money in time and SE just randomly refunded a part of the money that was in my balance. On my page I clearly make clear that refunds are not possible. Then I get this response: Hi, Unfortunately the refund happens at the level of the payment mediator, and we don't have any ability to restore it. I am sorry that this happened. If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

My only thoughts would be having to do with the settings on your camera. My guess would be your exposure or focus on the lens. Not too sure since your OBS settings there look right.
Resolution for rest of your stream is 1080p i assume @light moss ?

Other than your camera settings, it is likely it could be a lighting situation as well. High-end video cameras benefit from great lighting and can look "Noisy" with poor lighting. The Exposure on the camera may have something to do with that as well

We have tried multiple titles, and it keeps saying "something went wrong while trying to update the title", so I'm not sure it's something being filtered. Also, when doing a "subs" command, which usually states the amount of people subbed, it says "0" instead of the actual number of subs.

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Hi there! I am having difficulty with my StreamElements bot. For some reason, non of my modules are working (ie. !slots, !8ball, !gamble, etc.) but the follower notifications are. I tried parting my bot and joining again but no luck.
