On the live chat, you can see that a lot of JYK's messages do not appear

The widget skips chat messages from the same user if they post messages consecutively. It is also displaying random messages from the start of the stream in place of currently-posted messages

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

You can add, remove and make changes to custom commands in chat with !command/!cmd flags:

!command add (commandname) (commandresponse) - allows you **to add **a new custom command
!command remove (commandname) - allows you to delete a custom command
!command edit (commandname) (commandresponse) - allows you to edit an existing custom command
!command show (commandname) - allows you to see the raw response of a command before variables are used
!command options (commandname) -(flag) - allows you to change settings for an existing custom command

if you're using a premade overlay, a lot of them come with an alert box built in, so if you've added an alert box to one of those overlays, that could explain why two visual alerts play in browser

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

if you're on OBS, right-click/transform/fit to screen usually helps. but if it doesn't show the whole thing, some shift or alt dragging on the edges might be neccessary

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Can you guys update this so once it is enabled with "autoplay media" checked that it will actually autoplay the media requests without having to log back into website and manually click the "show on stream" button?

Also with each new media request session the first video that always tries to play on stream is your own streamelements tutorial video. Can you guys remove that so only viewer requested media plays?

I have OBS live, where is that dock? But either way I feel like the issue warrants a fix because many people might not use OBS live, and also many people including myself do IRL streams from a mobile device. In that case you are forced to log into streamelements webiste on a second phone, and enable media share on the website which is not optimized for mobile. Very cumbersome for IRL streamers to manage while in the middle of focusing on streaming and creating your content.

Yes we do have 2 phones, but can we request that an update be added to the functionality so when you check "autoplay media" on the media request settings that it actually does that for all media requested by viewers? If you're not planning a fix for that then maybe the "autoplay media" switch should just be removed entirely since it does not perform the stated action.

The scenario is an IRL stream is in progress from a mobile device. Stream elements media request widget is enabled on the purple wave static alert, and "autoplay media" is checked in media request settings. Viewer donates $10 with a media request submitted, and the media does not play automatically. I need to get out my second phone, log into streamelements website, navigate to the media request page on the dashboard, click "show on stream" and then click the skip forward button on the media player because the first media that plays on stream is a streamelements tutorial video.

After those steps then the submitted media will play

I assume you are referring to a hypothetical feature implementation? Right now my PC stream AND my IRL stream are both using the "purple wave static alerts" for my alerts, so enabling media share to "show on stream" I would think is just enabling it on the widget no matter where that widget is displayed.

so usually if you simultaneously try to use MR (let's say in your MR OBS.Live dock and the website) you'll see a msg like 'the widget is currently being used somewhere else' or something like that
and the button won't say 'show on stream' but instead it would show 'use here'. so management of MR will be moved from the OBS.Live dock to the website (assuming you click 'use here')

and yeah, please check if that changes the behavior if we 'show on stream' via mobile before going live in the app

I'll mess with this a bit and report back. I do think though that the training video should be removed as the first media that plays each session. It's pretty jank to have that play on stream for a few seconds every time before I press the next button.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hmm, got it. So the best way would be having a backup of your sources and settings, uninstall OBS and reinstall it using OBS.Live
In order to take a backup, go to Menu file > Show settings Folder. Copy the contents of that folder to some safe place and then you can uninstall OBS and reinstall it.
After the installation, open menu file > Show Settings folder again and paste the folders you copied before. Close OBS and open it again.

I had this issue some time ago and it was because a specific voice in my language. Try to change the voice you are using and make a test.
Also check if your variations on subs are TTS not enabled

It works fine with all commands etc when i enter commands in twitch stream manager. about 10 seconds after I launch OBS.live the bot does not do any commands. Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

this might seem like a silly question, but in the situation that I am not logged into my twitch account, am i still able to stream? im currently in the waiting period for authy/2FA because i changed numbers and am unable to log back into my account

im able to type/chat just fine on my OBS, which leads me to believe that im still linked through streamelements to my twitch account at least

Hey! We are aware of the button missing from the new design. Devs will return it, but no ETA on when. Currently you can use the "Duplicate" option from the overlay itself -> 3 dots button -> Duplicate.

if it says "declined" then you've declined the offer, instead of accepting it.

I only see 1 offer for you and its declined. Most likely you didn't manage to accept it in time, some time ago when we initially started this campaign

and instead of it being marked as "expired" which we now do properly, its marked as declined

You can go to the activity feed, widget data and check which data is not showing correctly. Another option is just reset session and they will start counting from that moment.

So I have been using StreamElements since I started streaming again about a month ago. The appeal at first was the overlays, not so much what StreamElements could "do". As I've streamed a few times I've noticed that I never get any notifications on my twitch stream and my "Activity Page" is always blank. If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Are you trying to move a normal alert box? that should work. Things like the item redemptions and media share will not as those are not supported on Trovo.

After you set it to yours and it works; then add your custom one back, again in the third option. you will need to relog with the bot and go through the 2fa.

Please help me, the BOT is very abnormal in the commands part, I see people taking timeout for it, but it doesn't respond to commands.
When I take it off the channel and add it again comes a shower of commands, it responds and then it stops working.
