I am looking for a bot that allows crossposting chat from Twitch to YouTube and vice versa, I saw one streamer do it one time but I forgot which streamer and which bot they used.

This bot would post YouTube comments to Twitch Chat, and post Twitch Chat to YouTube Chat, can the StreamElements bot do this?

Then you don't have OBS.Live installed. Custom bot name will be broken for you until you install our plugin and set it up again.

Makes sense. I was hoping there was a way to turn on sub only and emote only together with a command if a spam account or some chat disruption happens. Then chat could spam emotes to hide the spam content rather than clear the chat log. I'm a mod, newbie, for a channel and seeing if there are ways to make less clicks. If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

some widgets allow casings, you can check the widget's text settings and see if that's available
and it should update properly, the reset just resets labels, nothing should change on the backend, events should still come in as expected

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

How to separate Media Request (MR) audio in OBS:

MUTE MR FOR YOURSELF, STREAM CAN HEAR

1. Make a new overlay in the editor, ONLY add the Media Request widget.
2. Add a new browser source in OBS, add the URL and set the dimensions correctly.
3. Tick the box for Control audio via OBS
4. Go to Edit > Advanced Audio, set your MR overlay to Monitor Off. Note: This will play through the Desktop Audio, if you mute your desktop audio, it will mute the MR.

CONTROL AUDIO SEPARATELY FROM YOU AND STREAM

1. For this you will need a VAC (use command !vac).
2. Run your MR either in Chrome or in Ground Control (use command !gc). Note: Do NOT click on SHOW ON STREAM.

so for intros, it is easy to do as (most of the time, you wont have desktop audio playing (unless thats how you use send your music)), if you dont want to hear your music for intros then adding the files to obs will give you full control of the audio and levels.

however, for during stream, you would need to set up something else for the music to play and have seperate control.
due to the way windows works, there is nothing built in that can do this.

you can use devices such as goxlr,
software like voicemeeter,
or media request like the bot mentioned above, this doesnt have to be videos, you can set it just for audio and have it play a playlist throughout your stream that only your stream can hear

so that means that when viewers post actual emotes in chat OR your kappagen custom emote text

these will show up in the overlay

for emotesplosions you just need to make sure you enable the proper category when selecting emotes and actually selecting the specific emotes you want

In order to block anything from hoss appearing, you can setup the tipping moderation (this affects all alerts - follows, subs, cheers, tips, hosts, raids and their messages) and the banned words filter.

However it's a real pain in the ass to recreate my overlay in streamelements since there are a couple of small assets that I had manually put in OBS, so I was thinking if there is a way to export my OBS scenes to StreamElements?

it still uses the base obs program

uploading to the se site has a few limits, such as size

if you cant compress items enough then you will have to keep them in obs, you will just need to layer them correctly.

as for obs - se export, not really as its a file type that isnt supported

what you're referring to is more like 'hate raids'. which can be challenging to handle if indeed you don't have immediate direct access to your settings
I still haven't heard about a connection between the 'hoss' bots and 'hate raids' - it could be related but I have no indication for it now.
you should put spam filters and banned words into use for bad words that can help auto-banning any rude bot from chat.
but seems like ppl always find a way to send their message :\

Issue fixed for now but for perma fix, @deft nest just log out that custom bot account, log out of OBS.Live, log back into OBS.Live and then log back into the custom bot account and it will sync back up completely with your custom name.

If logging in and out doesn't work, perform this when offline

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hi. I have a RegEx: ^(\-s)$ that works normally as a custom command, but it just unexpectedly stops working. Sometimes it works again when I disable/enable the command. Sometimes I have to recreate the command EXACTLY the same and sometimes it doesn't come back. I was forced to put it as a keyword (which is bad in some cases). Using the same command on other channels it works normally, even when it stops on one. The same goes for other RegExs like (?i).*word.* (in this case, it's literally a keyword in RegEx form), so does ^(\+k), but it never happened with ^(\+s)$. (The +s and -s commands are used frequently, but only one of them stops after a few hours).

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Is there any way to refresh the emotes that the widgets see? It isn't updating for emotes I've added through Twitch or BTTV. The ones I added a few weeks ago work and show on screen and with Kappagen but nothing new is appearing. The Chatbox just shows the emote string and the Kappagen doesn't see the emotes.

I'm not sure I understand the question. You're asking whether an overlay can be added directly to your Twitch channel? If so, it can't, you have to add it to your streaming software.

This is not on StreamElements, you have to do that in your editing software. If you use Adobe tools (Premiere, After Effects etc.) you can use the WEBM plugin for the media encoder, it exists.

Hey, we've added these two options for you, as Event 4 and 5

• they appear as latest new sub and latest re-sub in the widget settings
  There is no real need to specify the amount for new subs as it is one month, but you can try and add the {amount} argument in the relevant field (like in the latest resub settings).
  It should show just the number 1 in the widget for that event. You can also add text alongside the arguments.

Hey, I recently changed my name on twitch and for some reason under user management I am not set as broadcaster. I don't even show up under usermanagement at alll and the bot commands will not work nor is the bot on my streams.

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

1. Right-click on your OBS desktop shortcut and open the Properties
2. In the Target field, add the following to the very end: --remote-debugging-port=40404 (don't forget to add a space before the current path)
3. Open OBS (or restart if it was open)
4. Open your web browser and type in: localhost:40404
5. Click on StreamElements - Activity feed
6. Navigate to the Console tab
7. Type the following into the console and hit enter: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration()
8. Try setting the custom bot name
9. Remove the additional flag in step 2 from your shortcut properties.

Hiho, I use kappagen emotes explosion for one of my alerts (eg cheer). I chose "only sub emotes and I have only two of those. But if i test it - only the first subscriber get that emote - all following get a totaly random standard emote.

Hi. The best solution would be to talk to the streamer about the refund. If this was a merchandise order - this is different, but for tips or stream store issues - the best solution is always to talk to the content creator.
