This is the default command. It is actually the !tip command, !donate is an alias for that command. Disable the !tip command if you do not need it

or if you explain how they did this? they used a photo i had set in my costume emotes kappagen (These custom emotes are used to allow triggering images of your choice from chat messages based on words or phrases you choose, in addition to normal chat emote behavior. If multiple of these match the same message, then you will get multiple emotes).

Is there some guide for using Stream Element's website's overlay editor? (shortcuts, cropping/sizing options, etc.) I switched over from StreamLabs recently for a plethora of reasons but I just can never seem to get this overlay editor working how I'd like. The undo option is buggy and often doesn't undo what I'd like, I'm not sure how to make the gifs I'm adding in larger, and trying to select and move layers often doesn't do so to the correct layer. Also not sure if there's a way to crop an image in the editor. There are only some of the issues I'm having, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The panel shows gift subs and cheers correctly, but Points and Chat Stats currently show "No Data" and the "Top Subs" only shows 2 out of ~400 current subscribers.

Any help would be much appreciated ❤️

Sub and cheer data is gathered via the chat - specifically for the subscribers list, people need to re/sub and then they will show up in the extension

for gifted subs, streamer needs to change the chat leaderboard to all time and give it a few minutes for the extension to grab the data

for loyalty points - is the system turned on?

Regarding chatstats - there was a name change a while ago, maybe around 3 months ago? The original Twitch username was donnytheindecisive , and the current one is donnnysins

Regarding loyal points, yes channel points are turned on although they are not "customized" per se, just listed as regular channel points.

@zenith widget And yes, it does seem like the only subscribers currently showing up out of the ~400 are the ones who newly subbed after the extension was installed earlier today. I have seen the leaderboard on other streams, where all top subscribers were listed dating back to the entire lifetime of the channel, so figured I'd ask in case there was an easy fix 🙂 Thank you again!

For the subs - like i said, people need to re/sub in order to get listed into the extension. To expand as I didn't mention something earlier, it will take up to a month if this is the first time the extension has been installed, for the sub list to populate with everyone, including longtime subs.

Community Gift = for someone gifting the random sub gifts above 1+ people

Chatstats fixed. For loyalty, there is no one in the loyalty points leaderboard and the system is not turned on for the streamer, so no one will get points allocated to them.

Our Dashboard and Overlay Editor are Chromium Optimized. We strongly recommend using Chrome. Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. Firefox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins is blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in an incognito tab.

Custom Fonts

Steps:

1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
2. In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings
3. Click on Enable Custom Font
4. Type the name of the font as it appears in the windows font directory (This is usually C:\Windows\Fonts)

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

I have recently aquicred Affiliate and got a few subs, but they are not showing up, also "Total Points" are also not showing. Channel Points, not using Loyalty, just Twitch integrated Channel Points

Hi.. I have been using the Kappagen overlay for over a year and love it... Recently though the emotesplosion effect has stopped working for me... When looking into it further I realized that I no longer have the option to add my Twitch emotes to the emotespolsion option and that is what I had set, which I believe is why it stopped working... i tried to delete the layer and re-add it to the overlay and I still don't have the Twitch emotes option to add... the only emotes I have available to add are the BTTV and the FFZ options... any help in getting my Twitch emotes back in the emotesplosion would be greatly appreciated.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

this streamer is already upset with the level of permissions required for youtube integration (so they didnt do it).. and an issue like this.. honestly im going to have to help them find a different service because they just wont trust SE with a silly issue like this.

Hello guys! I have a problem with Loyalty Ponits and giveaways. Anybody can help? I have added a Loyalty rule to give 1 point for each 100 bits. (as described in the loyalty page), and created a test giveaway with the price of the ticket 1 loyalty Point. The problem is that if I cheer20 2 times, I get 2 Points... Arent points supposed to be accounted only when My cheer count reaches 100?

Hello, I am using a custom fonts in streamelements and when I simulate a Follow/Sub its works fine, however when previewing it on OBS Studio the Font changes, any ideas how to solve that?

if you meant when viewing in OBS the font DOESNT change, be sure you hit the SAVE button first in stream elements

if you hit save and it still doesnt change, refresh the link in OBS, it should work long as you hit save

I've saved it multiple times. The Custom font works fine when simulating a follow inside streamelements website, however when "Previewing live on stream" and trying it on OBS Studio, it changes to other font (times new roman)

Steps:

1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
2. In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings
3. Click on Enable Custom Font
4. Type the name of the font as it appears in the windows font directory (This is usually C:\Windows\Fonts)

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

Probably an intentional thing, since I'm logged into Twitch on Streamlabs while doing it, but I can't try it through YT because Streamlabs, for some reason, doesn't have the import list fleshed out as much on YT as it does for Twitch

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Unfortunately, all of mine are wiki redirect links, so they are all too long. My initial thought is that maybe there's a way to edit elements on the website to remove the text limit through that way, which would make it copy paste better, though I lack any know-how on how to do that, lol.

1. Right-click on your OBS desktop shortcut and open the Properties
2. In the Target field, add the following to the very end: --remote-debugging-port=40404 (don't forget to add a space before the current path)
3. Open OBS (or restart if it was open)
4. Open your web browser and type in: localhost:40404
5. Click on StreamElements - Activity feed
6. Navigate to the Console tab
7. Type the following into the console and hit enter: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration()
8. Try setting the custom bot name
9. Remove the additional flag in step 2 from your shortcut properties.

Didn't used in the past, found nutty video on the matter, read the comment section about that method being outdated, tried the obs.live (which I don't need), my tip and bot was already setup, went to the obslive feed and tried to activate from there

I don't know if the software works fine or not for me, is the first time I use and is solely for this reason

for no reason at all it stoped giving me the error, so I went like a dumbass again, disconnected from streamlabs, reconnected again, tested the save buttom, no error, removed the custom bot, passed the captcha 2 times, went to my email, added the bot, clicked third option, checked test message: nothing, clicked save, bang! error 400

I'll just use streamlabs

The ONLY thing I could think of is that I use the same email for the bot account, which was verified individually too, surely that can't be it

Yes. Points are working for other things... but I'm planning a giveaway campaign for one month and will disable them for these other events. Durig the month the campaign starts, only Bits will account for points. The problem is that this behaviour of accounting points each time bits are sent instead of each 100 bits (as the loyalty settings page states) will create an unbalanced environment for the giveaway to happen, as people may discover they just needs to keep cheering the minimum amount for each ticket, and people cheering 5000 will just get 1 point, letting them buy less tickets to the giveaway.

This is very misleading the way it's working with fractions, be mindful of that.

Just tested, and 150 Bits gave me 150 Points correctly... leading me to believe that indeed the loyalty points work with Bits in a multiplier system. It is VERY important that streamers dont use less than 100 points as the loyslty system utilizes a multiple of 100 bits for points calculations. Or you guys need to fix the system to let It accrue fractions of points, so we dont have to deal with huge amounts of points in the loyalty system.

Anyways... This makes my campaign viable again! Thanks for the help @placid raptor !

Hello, I've tried 2 custom fonts in streamelements for my alerts, the preview of the alerts work just fine on the streamelements website. However, when I try "Preview LIVE on stream" using OBS studio, the fonts change (Into a basic font). And yes I've tried updating the browser source multiple times. Could someone help me with this?

Hi there! I was installing this widget Credit Roll and added it to my end stream overlay. I set up all the settings just fine, but when i want to do an Animation under teh Animation settings, none of them do anything. How come? Am I missing something? Hello! Recently I've had an issue where my Streamelements bot does not work while OBS studio is open. When OBS is closed, the bot works but without my custom name.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Issue...so I have some sound effect redeems in my store, but when they're redeemed only the sound works and the actual alert never appears. I have a gif asset set for the redeem and followed instructions that said to remove the "default" asset from the redemption widget. Ideas are welcome!

I also have an odd issue where the overlay is off-center from what it should be. My canvas is 1440p and I have the browser source set to the same size as the output, but the alerts appear off to the left even though I have it centered on the editor

Wondering if someone could help me with a minor issue. When people tip it doesn't show up in my Twitch feed on OBS, it also isn't triggering alerts. I have everything set up properly. The donation link goes to my SE tip page not my PayPal donations tab, my alert widget is set up properly and when I run a test the alert plays, and as far as the feed goes on both SE and Twitch the donation shows up in the recent events.

the alerts for follows, subs, cheers etc. all work perfectly, the tip/donation one is the only one that isn't triggering.

Hi folks - I'm having a problem with the editor. I'm using a third party package of alerts (nerdordie clearview), but none of them will play when I try to attach my own sound effects to them. That is, clicking on the emulate button for that alert does nothing. It goes back to working when I remove my sound. Toggling off CSS for the alert makes no change.

yo, I noticed that my video quality goes down when I move quickly around aka, there is much gameplay going on and something constantly happens, tho my internet is working really fine, same with my bitrate its at 6000 and doesnt fall down (im sure that it can handle 1080p with 6k bitrate and 60fps, cus I have over 90mbps of upload, and my pc works fine, its high end beast id say), then again I tried changing my keyframes in obs, priority to highest quality but it still doesnt give that much, any ideas on what to do?

Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
