reruns aren't live streams unfortunately

or to clarify, in terms of the backend, we don't see the channel is live during a rerun since we don't get that information from twitch

so watchtime isn't handed out during a rerun

Hello, I'm a mod on a Twitch channel, I tried to set up a subscriber count command for the steamer using "!command add !subs ${channel.subs} people are subbed", but every time I run it it comes up as "0 people are subbed", I also tried $(channel.subs) and even thought of ${channel.subscribers} even though it's not on the vars list, as well as moving the variable around in the text, but nothing works. The streamer was made affiliate 3 days ago, got over 10 subs yesterday, so I guess my question is does it take some time to update, doesn't it work on new affiliate channels or am I doing something wrong?

if your account is verified nothing happens to these tips @lament blade
but you need to make sure it's verified, because if it's not set up - after around 2 months or so tips can be refunded (payment mediator can't hold to the funds more than 2~ months)
and if they use SE.Pay sometimes emails are visible in statements, but I don't think so
I'd say test it out with a friend or a family member to see if when they tip they see any of your info

Sorry, I messed up there, also @placid raptor and @untold crest my question was wrong I guess.

I have a shoutout command like that: Make sure go and check out ${channel ${touser}} streaming ${game ${touser}}. You can see them at [linktotwitch]${channel ${touser}}

(the [linktotwitch] is actually the link in there, but I replaced it so it doesn't get blocked in here :P)

I want the command to work both as "!shoutout" and "!shoutout @plucky estuaryusername".

So the problem is that ${touser} adds @ and ${channel ${touser}} removes it but also makes it lowercase (same when using ${1}), but I want the actual display name without the @. When looking through variables and testing them I didn't see anything that would work like that.

these are variables to be used in custom commands

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

hi i'm not sure if this is the correct channel for this question but i'm completely at a loss. randomly at different times during stream my obs live completely drops the connection to twitch servers causing the stream to cutout and for obs to attempt a reconnect. i have 0 drop in internet connection, the apex match i am in does not disconnect, and discord does not disconnect. i have tried 4 different servers in stream settings as well as auto connect. i have all 3 network options disabled in the advanced tab and bind to ip is set to the only ethernet output. any ideas?

i've also contacted my isp twice and there is nothing going on on their end

ok so with the gpu hardware acceleration thing. i believe it only would disconnect during the one game i had that enabled for. i have done bandwidth tests but not while playing that game. would a bandwidth test stream while playing that specific game be a good way to test if i have fixed the issue by disabling this setting?

If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.

Hello, I have a slight issue with stream elements... I switched my twitch name n' such for rebranding... and now I can't use moderator / broadcaster level commands... could I get some help with this please?

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

so ive been using Se pay for a while and have a fair amount in it waiting for me to withdraw it. its said "withdraw not possible takes up to 7 days" for the past 3 ish months im worried that i might have put the wrong info in and i dont want to disconnect the bank from it because i dont know if I will lose any of the money in the account. Hi! i have a question about the SEpay and getting my tips to my paypal account. I have over $100 in tips and people wanting me to use it in game on stream, but it says i cant get the tips until i have 100 followers (i have 97). Is there anyway to bypass the follower count?

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

I know that there is a keywords function on StreamElements but I was wondering if there is anyway for a mod to be able to create keywords through twitch chat? Something like !cmd add <keyword>
<response> or if anyone knows another way to do this without using the dashboard

i think this is the right place but when trying to set up my follow goal its coming up incorrect with my number of followers. i got follow botted a while back and im wondering if that has anything to do with it? my follow amount is correct when i have that up but not when its on my follow goal

To reset goals:

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.
