If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

Hi there! I'm taking over this issue, and since it started out as a ticket, I'm not sure how to help. Can you either DM me the tweet where you brought it up, or explain what's wrong again here?

Basically we use StreamElements for the Store of the channel Pijack11, i manage the channel and have full access to his dashboard, the thing is, all of the sudden, subs could not redeem our voice message, which is a sub only item on the store, even tho they're subbed to the channel. They already tried to refresh the page, relog in the website, even i tried to test it and i always get the same message saying the item is sub only, even tho i'm also a sub there.

I have no idea of why this happened, because we haven't changed anything from when it used to work to now, and testing it without the "sub only" option worked.

At the first contact, support suggested that we part/join the bot, which i've done but the issue is still there. Currently, i had to change the store item to "everyone" instead of sub only because it is an core item to the channel economy.

Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

To change the channel you're streaming to, you need to connect to the right account in OBS Settings -> Channel, and to logout from the OBS.Live menu on top, then log in with the new account.

I'm not sure which of these two you didn't do, but at least one of them. 🙂

not able to get custombot to work despite using these steps:

1. Right click on your OBS desktop shortcut -> properties - in the "Target" field add this at the VERY end of the target field --> --remote-debugging-port=40404
2. Open OBS(or restart if it was open)
3. Open your browser and type in "localhost:40404"
4. In the browser of the localhost:40404, Click on the "StreamElements - Activity feed" blue link
5. At this link, navigate to the Console tab
6. type in the console (there's a box at the very bottom that you can click on and type) this: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration
   Then go through the custom bot steps in steamelements

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Streamelements bot is not working if OBS or OBS.Live is running. Closing OBS makes the bot work. In OBS, if I go to streamelements>stream setup>setup bots and tipping, it gets hung up on the last step where my only options are "do it later" or "back"... Is there a known solution?

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.
To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.

Sure. If you edit an existing overlay and save it in the overlay editor, it'll be updated live in the stream.

If you add a new one, you will need to add a new browser source or change the URL in an existing one in OBS, and it'll be added.

See the live stream - no.
You can enter Studio Mode in OBS (bottom right) and edit a scene you're not on, which will allow you to preview your work.

If you're an editor - you can't. The streamer has to do it.

She has made me an editor, so i can create overlays etc.

In general, on mobile, you can't switch the overlay you're using. So that option is unavailable no matter if it's you or her.

So you can only go into the existing overlay and edit it. And as an editor you can do that without difficulty. Just add whatever you want and remember that it won't show until you save the overlay.

Moderator variations:
Bot Moderator: grants access to loyalty and chat bot sections.
Editor: all Bot Moderator permission + able to edit overlays.
Full control: full access, apart from adding new moderators
Full control does not provide in any way access to your Twitch account.

Can I assume that only Full Control have access to the activity dashboard? Or does Bot Moderator also have access to activity dashboard? Hope someone can help me clarify this. Thank you ❤️

The Twitch app won't do. But I'm pretty sure that the overlay should appear after she installs the app and logs in properly. Can you make sure she's logged in to the right Twitch account in her mobile, and gave all required authorizations?
