Hum, the Kappagen feature isn't working as it should

It recognizes some emotes and some not
sometimes the emotes also wont even pop up on screen until another same one is sent i chat afterwards

@queen ivy 10 minutes of watch time is given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled to watch time to work properly.
There is no direct link between watch time and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the number of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in the chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user do not affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

Dear twitch supporters, I've just started using streamelements and setting up my allerts. Sadly when I use "Text over image" the text won't show up.
Its a PNG image from the own3D website. Anyone that knows how to fix it? Let me know 🙂

Fixed it, my problem was in advanced settings: the top margin was on -50, had to change it to 140 instead. (Removed the "-") and its visable now 🙂

@cedar folio Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

Ah yeah that doesn't show for me when viewing your acc, that is for personal setup. If you want to create an overlay, just click the "My Overlays" on the left

If you want to use the SuperThemes and other SE + community overlays, just click Themes Gallery

It's greyed out as you've made one overlay already, so it counts that as a completed goal 🙂

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I reproduced it by checking points every 10 minutes as well. we followed the instruction to disable the loyalty points, remove bot from channel, log out, clear browser cache cookie, rejoin bot, enable loyalty points -- but still same issue

Hello SE team! I'm having troubles connecting my Custom Bot Name within SE. I've followed the instructions in this link by z3Groove: https://support.streamelements.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017413239-Creating-a-Custom-Bot-name-with-OBS-Live- but it seems as though my 2nd twitch account isn't authorising correctly after going through the steps. All requirements have been met, but it's simply not accepting it and not displaying my 2nd account as an option from the list. Any help is much appreciated!
Note: I'm trying to set this up via https://yoink.streamelements.com/activity-feed/stream-settings as I can't see the 'Activity feed' optin under OBS.LIVE > Stream Elements > Activity feed nor can I see it within Ground Control. I had also tried SE.Support's troubleshooting steps and access my localhost:40404, but didn't have the activity feed option. Happy to share more screenshots if required.

but yes just authentication conflicts or something, dunno if was related to GC cuz of the token or whatnot

but once we have pre-requisites > logged in to proper accounts > shouldn't be an issue with actually connecting

if it fails it implies on something wrong with authentication

at which point we go back to look at things from the start and double check our steps while refreshing what we can

I suspected it to be an issue with auth or the API token also. I believe that command via the console did the trick to wipe it all and start again.

3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

So during my stream, my raid alert is still not triggering. Both Host and Alert shows up in the activity window, but only the host alert goes off. SE is not triggering the raid alert.

I was told to make sure the variable was set to 'minimum zero' but it is still not triggering the alert at all.

@sacred mica 10 minutes of watch time is given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled to watch time to work properly.
There is no direct link between watch time and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the number of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in the chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user do not affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

when you tip through paypal there are two ways to send money. Friends and Family which will show up on stream and will be ready in ur paypal account balance immediatly and then gifts and services which will not be available immediatly. They will be put on hold and wont show on your stream until they are confirmed a few days later.

@grand fulcrum it’s how the payment was sent by the user when they submitted via PayPal. Not streamelements. If a user tips you via your tipping link they are taken to PayPal. Once the PayPal transaction is processed you receive information on your streamelements dashboard regarding the transaction. There is no money being stolen by streamelements, it’s how your viewer processed the tip.

Good morning, not sure it’s the right place. Let me know if not. Activated a timer yesterday for the bot to post announcement. Relatively simple timer. 0 chat lines with a 30 min « online » and 120 minutes « offline «  The bot never posted an announcement... I read that it has to be globally restarted by stream elements first to be active. What’s the cron on that restart? Or maybe I’m missing something else? Thank you

your friend needs to make you an editor and you'll be able to duplicate overlays to their account

Yeah. I read that. Hence why my question. It says « when the bot is globally restarted by us » when does that happens? Because I had 100 or so viewers and never the announcement was done by the bot. I config it like an hour before going live. Maybe the bot wasn’t restarted globally?

The restart of the bot is seamless when we do it

but it does restart timers if they were triggered beforehand

and no, restarts don't happen that often
