Hello, any tips to reduce cpu high consume? looks like SE browser source cause very high cpu usage, even a very small labels for twitch followers and subscriber only already took 10% of my CPU usage i7-7700k.
i've tried on-off browser hw acceleration, tick-untick the shutdown source when not visible, still nothing changes. cpu usage is always 70-80% for OBS only.

I have been trying to play around with !ban and !unban as well as !timeout commands without having moderator permission in chat.
I found out that I, in fact, can do all these things, except for the unban.
Someone with a mod-badge and level 500 can use the command, but I as super mod in the user management can't.
Is this also just another Twitch thing?

@weak marten You can change the background to transparent by typing transparent or rgba(0,0,0,0) inside the proper field. The only thing limiting you at the moment is that the alert background has to be solid, as the alert "covers" the back element with recent event.

Switched my SLOBS to regular OBS and noticed that my alerts work fine on my IRL scene, but do not work on my gaming scene. Since the placements are different, I made them as new, seperate layers in a new group and I can hear the sound but they don't show up. Anyone have an idea of why this isn't showing up? In SLOBS I had no issues so not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Are there any humans available that might be able to help me troubleshoot a problem with StreamElements alerts?
Issue: Audio from Alerts isn't playing on stream consistently. Sometimes, the alert will pass through the audio on the first alert but not the subsequent ones, other times - no audio goes through to stream at all. I always hear the alerts on my side when I test, but on stream there is no playback.

I am trying to setup my stream elements alerts. I have a webm file that I have uploaded and selected but for some reason, all that shows up is the dancing shark. Even if I try and go back to an image the dancing shark is there. It seems to have reset all changes I made as soon as I selected my WEBM file even though they still show in the side bar.

Ight so ive made the switch to stream elements and got all of my new notifications made in an overlay. I then copied the url into a new source via browser. I can get my follower audio and video on the obs, but every other notification i only get audio. Pls help lol
The only thing i have found with googling is to go to my settings and go to the advanced tab and scroll down to sources and uncheck enable browser source hardware acceleration, and apparently that fixes it. But not for me :/

Problem is i want to put the socmed rotator into my other overlays for efficiency. Hi guys I had 2 different subs in my latest stream but i only got the notification of 1 of them. I'm a bit confused about the chatbot. On my last stream, one of my viewers sent a message in chat that was too long. The bot deleted the message and timeouted the viewer. So far, so good. But the bot did not only delete the long message, but EVERY single message that viewer had sent. that was about 30 messages, over the course of about one hour, so I see absolutely no reason, why the bot would do that.

Well, timeout existed before Twitch added the option to delete single messages. They never really combined the two actions.
So there's a way to delete a single message, but if you want to time out the user, it's gonna purge all of them.

Scene and source setup needs to be backed up using the Cloud backup option in the StreamElements menu at the top of OBS.Live. Otherwise, you will need to recreate your browser sources using your overlays in your dashboard.
It is not an automatic backup.

Streamlabs systems make Streamlabs alerts. StreamElements systems make StreamElements alerts. Something happening in StreamElements will NEVER trigger an alert through Streamlabs, and vice versa. If you want an alert regarding a StreamElements activity, you need a StreamElements alertbox.

If you want something in chat in response to the use of Loyalty points, then you need to use the StreamElements chat bot.
Nothing in Streamlabs will ever react to anything done with StreamElements systems.

@acoustic thunder If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:
- In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
- Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
- In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
- Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
- Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
- Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hey guys , im having an issue when i upload a sound to Streamelements to be used in an overlay i dont get any sounds at all on my side, but my viewers hear it. kinda a interesting predicament. lol i would love to be able to hear my own custom alerts.
Ok i narrowed it down to maybe a channel issue with the overlay? when i switch to a seperate channel it works but refuses to come through my default sound card.

So it seems i get alert sounds out of all my outputs. but i dont get sound out of my default just my damn monitor.... and my headphones as soon as i set my speakers to the main sourse nothing at all , levels move but nothing is heard on my end, but viewers can hear.

@mossy bramble It's up to you to adjust your audio settings in OBS and Windows to make sure everything is playing out of the device you need it to. Aside from pointing out the advanced audio options that let you monitor sources, it's up to you to set it up as every audio setup is different.

i have no idea whats making that happen the default sound worked fine, as soon as i made a custom alert sound nothing.

Editing an alert has no bearing on the browser source behavior in OBS.

but just from that one input all other inputs seem 100% fine,
yeah i know thats why im very confused. if i remove the alert i get the original sound and it works fine on that input.
but as soon as i put a custom alert sound to it nothing

@strong kernel yeah ok i got it, it was the fact that the format wasnt and needed to be 48000khz @ 16 bit apparently custom alert sounds require that, and the default uses whatever. But yeah it was a windows setting.
