1.) In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2.) Click on Stream Settings -> Custom bot name
3.) In the "Custom bot name" field select "Set custom bot name", not your already existing username (with capital letters)
Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png)
4.) Scroll a bit down and click on the purple "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT" button
5.) Log in as usual and "Authorize" the custom bot name
6.) Back in the Activity feed, click on the "SEND TEST MESSAGE" button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

So I am a "manager" of a few channels on streamelements. I don't know why I can't manage these channels anymore. When I'm trying to switch from my dashboard to channel that I manage I get redirected to main StreamElements page (streamelements.com). When I click "My Dashboard" button I get redirected to the main page as well. To get to my own dashboard I have to go to channel's page (I mean streamelements.com/my channel's name) and then click on the SE logo in the top left corner. But I still can't access other dashboards. I tried relogging but it didn't help. Does someone know how to fix this problem? Edit: please excuse my English skills 😆

@jade valley I had that before. To fix it the person that granted you permissions needs to log out and back into their dashboard, after that it should work again.

I myself ran into a small problem just now.
The media request is looping on the last video instead of just stopping. Does anyone know what setting causes that?

@proper spindle If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:
1.) In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2.) Click on Stream Settings -> Custom bot name
3.) In the "Custom bot name" field select "Set custom bot name", not your already existing username (with capital letters)
Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png)
4.) Scroll a bit down and click on the purple "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT" button
5.) Log in as usual and "Authorize" the custom bot name
6.) Back in the Activity feed, click on the "SEND TEST MESSAGE" button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I'm trying to set up a command to welcome people back when someone says wb or welcome back, it works when you say wb <name> but if the username isn't the second word in the comment it doesn't work, as shown in the screenshot. this is what i have in the response "/me welcome back to the Soy stream $(touser) PrideUwu" and the triggers are !wb, <wb> and <welcome back> in the command keyword triggers. Does anyone know how i can make it recognise the word that comes after wb/welcome back instead of just the second word in the comment?

so for 'wb whatever' you'll need a command, and for something like 'this is a wb test' a different command

that is the way exactly, the variable is ${1} where the 1 is the word relative to the trigger
so you can set like 3 commands with certain variables that will output exactly what you want
but it's very sentence length oriented, so I guess it can pick up on stuff even when not expected

The alert is using custom CSS/JS.
The same alert css/js works fine for any other category (subs, follows, etc) with simple field changes. However for Cheer, it will not "work" Nothing shows what typed out...

1.) In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2.) Click on Stream Settings -> Custom bot name
3.) In the "Custom bot name" field select "Set custom bot name", not your already existing username (with capital letters)
Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png)
4.) Scroll a bit down and click on the purple "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT" button
5.) Log in as usual and "Authorize" the custom bot name
6.) Back in the Activity feed, click on the "SEND TEST MESSAGE" button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

If you changed your name on Twitch please follow these steps:
🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Long story short = I wanted to make a macro to fire off the !raffle command... and I've fallen down this (5) hour rabbit hole trying to make that happen. I've lunged back and forth between OBS, OBSlive, SLOBS... etc... plugins, scripts, etc.... I just want to stream and have control over the spare twitch (bot account) that I made.

I have finally installed python and a script.. and can now do this... but the (spare twitch accnt) doesnt seem to have permissions.

It's just a regular twitch account set to moderator .. and then commands still wont trigger.

So apparently none of my mods can activate any commands.

@maiden remnant this usually happens when we have the MR widget in more than one scene. make sure you 'shutdown source when not visible' for all overlays containing the MR widget

regarding the command, did you enable both the command and the viewer requests? @maiden remnant please check that in the MR panel in OBS

Hey, I could do with a hand. I've tried for a couple of days to set up an alert box now. Can do it fine with everything apart from the cheer alerts. I've been uploading videos for all of them but the cheer one uploads and shows it there in the side bar but when I emulate a cheer event, it always does the default, no matter what video I upload

Got a question, what does single source really mean, if i add multiple video cam feeds, sound sources, are these not extra sources? So it means that the camvas and any dynamic pop upds are single source?

Also if im using streamelements do i need the streamlabs Sound Alerts or does streamelements do that for me?

Totally confused about sound alerts the config says the browser source is offline??

@chrome matrix Twitch prime (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. When I import my currency.csv from the streamlabs bot, the amount of hours get converted into minutes. So 586 hours becomes 9 hours 46 minutes. Any way to fix this? I also cannot reset the watchtime page in streamelements?

Hello ! So there is a coin feature in streamelements if i right , and I'm currently using it. My problem is that i want to get rid of AFK coin farmers , so I give coins to my viewers after I fnisihed with a match in game , and I want to get help ! So whenever I want to give coins to my viewers I want them to type in !collect to collect the coins I want to give them , so the AFK coin farmers wont get those coins . Is this possible ? Hello so I have a problem.
I use streamelements and I can't deal with AFK coin farmer people.
There is a setting called loyalty system which gives everyone coins who has the stream open.
Thats not the only "big" problem.
There is a command called !addpoints <amount> , and it gives coins to the active viewers, whether they afk or not .
I want a script / command that prevents that.
So after I type !addpoints <amount> , i want a !collect command that collects the coins I want to give them , so it can prevent AFK farming.
Is it possible ? If yes, I would like to get your help I you have enough free-time for it 🙂

@amber obsidian If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:
1.) In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2.) Click on Stream Settings -> Custom bot name
3.) In the "Custom bot name" field select "Set custom bot name", not your already existing username (with capital letters)
Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png)
4.) Scroll a bit down and click on the purple "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT" button
5.) Log in as usual and "Authorize" the custom bot name
6.) Back in the Activity feed, click on the "SEND TEST MESSAGE" button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

• from the overlay editor -> session data on top right (monitor symbol) -> goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal
• from the dashboard -> activity feed on the left -> widget data on the right -> goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal
  Note: Goal widgets(progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you loose followers/subs

@lament blade 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. FireFox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins are blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in a incognito tab.

Hallo. Had been doing some research and decided to switch over to streamelements today. But I'm really having some difficulties setting everything up. I've set up the follower, tip, etc. but when i emulate an event, in the streamelements browser the event is perfect, but when I active the "preview live on stream" and then look at the OBS tap, it only shows like 1/3 of the event. Just like in the attached photo. Anyone got a fix?
