4.) Scroll a bit down and click on the purple "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT" button
5.) Log in as usual and "Authorize" the custom bot name

Hi, for some reason the HypeCup doesn't pick up twitch subscribers, I have tried adding it again with the standard settings without any success. I also tried taking away the custom sub icons and that also didn't fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

@inland trench Our Dashboard and Overlay editor are Chromium Optimized. We strongly recommend using Chrome. Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. FireFox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins are blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in a incognito tab.

Does Cooldown amount in cmds section mean seconds or minutes ? I mean there are some numbers like 600 by default so i assume it means seconds. Asking cause in Streamlabs Chatbot mins are used. @dense tulip We're not able to troubleshoot issues with using our overlays in StreamLabs OBS (SLOBS) as we don't have the tools to support their software. We recommend using OBS Studio or OBS Studio with our plugin OBS.Live.

1.) In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2.) Click on Stream Settings -> Custom bot name
3.) In the "Custom bot name" field select "Set custom bot name", not your already existing username (with capital letters)
Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png)
4.) Scroll a bit down and click on the purple "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT" button
5.) Log in as usual and "Authorize" the custom bot name
6.) Back in the Activity feed, click on the "SEND TEST MESSAGE" button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

The goal count is correct. You're assuming that the "goal" which is progress towards a total number, is the same as current subscriber counts which reflects the number of people subscribed to your channel.

there is a difference between a goal like when you fundraise for a charity, it starts at 0 and works up towards a total number you want to reach, and a counter which counts existing subscriptions read via the Twitch API to reflect the number of people subscribed to your channel at that point in time.

Not understanding how resizing the box is making any difference, because in your example the text is inside the alert box boundary.

I resized the alert box to the entirety of the screen. Just to try it, I reduced it back to initial size. Same result.

Greetings, I was hoping to get some help with an issue that research has so far failed me on solving... When I receive alerts on my Twitch stream via OBS Studio, I find that the sound plays for the alert, but no image or text is present. If I use the emulator on the StreamElements website, the alert appears on the website perfectly, but does not appear on my stream via OBS Studio. Any help would be most radical :)

So far my troubleshooting has entailed ticking the "Preview LIVE on stream" box, logging out of StreamElements's website / clearing my cache / closing my browser / relogging, and looking creating a new browser source in OBS Studio. Nothing has worked thus far... When I logged out / cleared cache, the alert link I was provided was the same as the original link before clearing cache. I hope this helps.

@round bramble Sadly no luck, I found that solution a while ago as well, and had it disabled. I tried re-enabling it again, restarting OBS Studio, Logging out of StreamElements / Relogging, then trying the emulation again with no luck.

@burnt sable Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card and a PC with OBS in order to have Overlays over your console gameplay.

• Ground Control does not have Custom Bot Name
• Subscriber count will count the Channel and any other permanent sub you may have (+1 or +2 or +3 on top).

  OBS.Live still has Custom Bot name working fine in it.

@fluid scaffold There is a bug with setting the stream title in OBS and the Dev team is investigating.
In the meantime you can set the title using the !settitle command in chat (if enabled in your bot command settings)

@lament blade There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Hi, I have a problem with the cheer alert.

When creating and adjusting the overlay, it does not take over the graphics I created and also not the sound settings, because I deactivate the sound.

It always plays only the standard settings. No matter what I add to graphics or video, he does not take over these. Everything remains with the default settings. Even changes like the font size are not taken over.

I am unable to change my Stream Title through the Activity Feed Stream Settings. When i try and type or delete it jumps the cursor to the end of what is already in there. I am able to change the game though.

@turbid radish There is a bug with setting the stream title in OBS and the Dev team is investigating.
In the meantime you can set the title using the !settitle command in chat (if enabled in your bot command settings)
Or with the Twitch dashboard: https://dashboard.twitch.tv/stream-manager

Hello! I'm wondering if anyone can assist me. My issue is that whenever I'm live using obs.live my streamelements bot doesn't work at all, but when I'm offline, not streaming, it works just fine. Thank you in advance!

@brave summit If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:
1.) In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2.) Click on Stream Settings -> Custom bot name
3.) In the "Custom bot name" field select "Set custom bot name", not your already existing username (with capital letters)
Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png)
4.) Scroll a bit down and click on the purple "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT" button
5.) Log in as usual and "Authorize" the custom bot name
6.) Back in the Activity feed, click on the "SEND TEST MESSAGE" button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hey there. I am having an issue in OBS where I can't change the title of my stream in Activity Feed > Stream Settings. No matter if I highlight my title, or just drop the curser in, I can't backspace anything or type anything in. I've refreshed the Activity Feed window, restarted OBS, restarted my computer, pretty much everything, and it won't work, so I have to do it from my Twitch Creator Dashboard. Any suggestions?
