we also dont help with issues regarding slobs.

i would say the diff is that SE runs over web enviroment @glacial stream and SL runs through your computer in SLOBS itself, SE tries to relief CPU stress doing this way. Your best analysis would go into both platforms and read about each and choose the one that fits your needs 😉

Hi, I asked a question yesterday but didn't get a chance to come back here to see it resolved.... i'm having issues with the streamelements bot and had to de-mod it on Friday, as well as my twitch bot account I have it attached to through obs.live (just in case).
It times out people seemingly for emoji and emote use, but not consistently. I know it's the bot because the only other moderator I have on my channel is my husband, no other bots.
I use chatty and could see the strike-through messages that were timed out, and none were breaking the emote (30 limit), symbol (15 limit), and caps protection (30 limit).
Is there something I'm doing wrong?

There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

I've build my widgets inside the overlay editing page, and made a group, named chat. Inside there's a bunch of stuff, however if I'd like to resize it on the top right (the complete group) it only resizes one part at a time, and it's pretty annoying.

@median sorrel So in Steam elements .. all you have to do is edit one of the overlays. Click on one of the objects and then you can see the texts that you wish to change and also remove
once you're finsihed editing.. all you have to do is copy the URL of the overlay and add it to your scene in os as a browser and priortize that above everything else so it sticks

Is it possible to somehow use "!cmd <number>" in a way such that the command will either use ${count <variable> +<number>}, when a number has been given, otherwise just increment by one? I thought it could work with ${count <variable> +${1|"1"}}, but it just prints everything out and not increment the counter.
Or is it even possible, to restrict a command to only work, if numbers are written? As far as I now, there's only a "args.emote" and "args.word" but no "args.number" or anything alike.

Hello folks. I think I'm really confused as to how the Twitch Sub totals work with StreamElements. For some reason, the Totals always increase whenever someone subs, but they never go down again. - Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between them
- Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events

I have a problem with Modules under "Chat Alerts" - "Hosting!". My original message had my emotes, which don't work in channel for some reason. So, I edited it with global Twitch emote instead.
But the problem is, although the module message says "SAVED", the message always reverts back to the wrong message. I have tried delete the message completely and writing a new one. I tried disable/enable, but still it goes back to the wrong message.
No. 1 is the message that doesn't work properly in channel.
No. 2 is a message with global emotes that should work in channel.

The right emote shows correctly in the Modules message on Normal mode browser, but still not in Incognito mode. So, I guess that is part of the issue.

So you can add ${count [name]} to your command to do the counting every time the command is used.
If you just want to display the value, without incrementing it, then another command with ${getcount [name]} will be needed.
![name] being the command of course.
you can fill in what you want at [name]
so you can replace that with deaths, then you get ${count deaths}

@somber needle Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:
- All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
- Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

Over the last few days I have been setting up my alerts and hype cup and I am running into a issue where even though i setup individual custom images the hype cup uses the default twitch emotes instead. I have the images set to circle and the sprite sheet is unchecked. The same image seems to work fine for the other hype cup alerts, just not for cheers specifically.

10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

@torn kindle Tips must be received through your StreamElements tipping page link to play alerts on your overlay via the alertbox widget. The exception to this would be Tiltify donations, which will trigger the special Tiltify alertbox when integrated with your account, and ExtraLife donations, which will go through the special ExtraLife alertbox.

5 minutes have passed. Have X messages been sent in chat?
-Yes: Send the timer.
-No: Stay silent.

So... I made some overlays. I'm a bit confused on how to get them into the stream. I copy the URL and use that as a browser source in OBS is my assumption. Should I make that source the size of the entire screen, or just the area where the overlay covers? I assume full-screen.

@cosmic vortex To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Paste your overlay URL in the browser source properties, set the dimensions to 1920x1080 (unless you changed them on the website), and ☑ “Shutdown source when not visible” https://youtu.be/KDvLynUqXI4

@cosmic vortex You can test Alerts via the Emulate bell on the lower left side of the Overlay Editor. Simply go to your Dashboard -> My Overlays -> Pencil/edit button on the overlay. Make sure the "Preview LIVE on stream" option is on to see the alert in OBS/Xsplit https://streamable.com/vtulg9

If you want the message to go every 5 minutes, without fail, you need to set chat lines to 0.
