You've recently signed up with us. I assume you've recently added the extension as well right?

Usually the extension grabs data from the chat directly.

For subs specifically it waits and grabs when someone re/subs and adds them to the data.

For cheers - add the cheer leaderboard on your channel and switch it to All-time - this will allow the extension to grab the all-time cheers and then you can switch the chat leaderboard to something else

if you have our bot within your chat and the module is enabled you will always get notifications but sometimes we do have hiccups

sometimes parting the bot and rejoining it fixes it

Is there something I'm missing on setting up host alerts? Changed all my alerts to custom ones, tested them all by emulate button works fine, but on stream last night every alert worked except host. I've checked the settings and is changed to from 0 viewers but other than that I dont know?

@opaque heath Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

@worldly rune Twitch prime (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. I think I found a possible bug in the Dashboards Overlay Editor - specifically in the HypeCup. Editing the "Cheers" settings provides an option for "Add Variation". I tried it out, and sadly not before noticing there are missing options for the cheer amounts minimum value to activate the Variation. It's there for Tips and Subs, but appears to be missing for cheers. Further, the Variation I added doesn't show in the list so it can't be removed and now all cheers fill the cup with the one same image from the failed Variation

I can re-add one labeled as "cheer1" and it shows at the end of the list, but not the hidden one. If it were there and added, it should have shown below the last default "cheer10000" and before the "cheer1" that now appears last

@knotty siren honestly I recommend using SE's bot, as you can import all your other bot settings through SE automatically it makes that easy. If you want to keep using nightbot, at least /mod StreamElements bin your chat so it can connect & keep track of your stream data

There are libraries out there like StreamBeats and NoCopyrightSounds you can use for free. You won't be thrown in jail though

Hello. Between yesterday and today I got 190 new subscribers but StreamElements only counts 16 of them. The rest are not even receiving their points bonus. What might be happening?

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

Hello.

I think I just need to link/unlink my account to Twitch, I am not sure. I became affiliate a few days ago so I think that might be effecting me - My alerts are not working.

Someone just subbed to me and it's not showing up in the StreamElements dashboard or anywhere on the site.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have a friend who I help with alerts, and she has been having an issue with using multiple alert boxes for her stream. They work fine until she adds a 3rd alert box for followers. She wants the alerts to be on separate parts of the screen for different alerts.

So I stream from my PS4 to an Elgato HD60pro in my pc. I'm having an issue where I'm not getting any audio from my mic on stream. I am still able to chat in game and hear other people's voices on my stream, just not my own. Any idea how to fix this issue?
