• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

Hiii! Happy Easter to everyone celebrating! I have a big issue with streamelements obs - i have 2 scenes - one for full screen cam (intermission) and 1 for gameplay w/ tiny cam. When I open obs live, it's not loading the cam in my intermission scene (it's all black) and it messes it up in my main scene (it's working there, but it's smaller than it should be). if i try to add a new source on my intermission for the cam it doesn't work. however, if i restart obs live 10 times (on average) everything returns back to normal. I've been doing this for the last 3 streams and this restarting makes me late every single time. Could someone help me check what's going on?

i would say remove all webcam sources in obs

add your intermission cam then go to your in game scene and select "add existing" webcam

position it to where you need it, close obs, then restart it as admin

🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

hey everyone. I am brand new to StreamElements (OBS) and Twitch, and I just streamed for the first time last night. All in all, it was a great stream with a few minor setbacks. 1) My stream restarted 3-4 different times for some reason. 2) there was a pretty significant delay on the stream, making me not be able to communicate effectively with my audience. I updated the twitch settings to low latency, and the OBS setting for delay was switched off. Any ideas on how to correct these issues so I can improve my streams for my community? • All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

Each Sub adds time to the amount of time that would be already added. Say like some one subbed, the timer was at 00:00, then it added like 10 minutes to the timer, therefore making it "10:00", then starts to countdown going "10:00, 9:59, 9:58, 9:57, etc..." then someone else subs and adds 10 more minutes making it 19:57, 19: 56, etc....

Now when I use my channel emotes it seems to work but I'm not seeing global twitch emotes at all.

And I imagine you're seeing this as well, but in my firefox console, when a global twitch emote gets requested from chat the console gives me a warning "Phaser.Cache.getImage: Key "LUL" not found in cache."

I would suggest to up that bitrate but also make sure you have updated your drivers for your card.

• Ground Control does not have Custom Bot Name
• Subscriber count will count the Channel and any other permanent sub you may have (+1 or +2 or +3 on top).
  We are working on fixing both issues, but there is no ETA.
  OBS.Live still has Custom Bot name working fine in it.

hey everyone. I am brand new to StreamElements (OBS) and Twitch, and I just streamed for the first time last night. All in all, it was a great stream with a few minor setbacks. 1) My stream restarted 3-4 different times for some reason. 2) there was a pretty significant delay on the stream, making me not be able to communicate effectively with my audience. I updated the twitch settings to low latency, and the OBS setting for delay was switched off. Any ideas on how to correct these issues so I can improve my streams for my community? For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. Custom Fonts

Steps:

1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
2. In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings
3. Enable Custom Font
4. Type the name of the font as it appears in the windows font directory (This is usually C:\Windows\Fonts)

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

@formal galleon If what you mean is to give your bot access to your emotes, you will have to pay for a sub to your channel on that account. If what you mean is have the bot post as you, there is a setting for that. It's called "custom bot name" just associate it with your own account.
