Hey guys! I haven't changed any of my OBS studio settings but for some reason when I go live on twitch. It's only gives the viewers the option of 1080p and nothing else. It use to give the option of 240p up to 1080p, so my viewers could choose. Does anyone know how I can get this option back?

if you stream thru your console and still want alerts and overlays, you need to stream through your PC via a capture card

but! you can still set up the Stream Elements bot since it runs in the cloud, not on your machine

unfortunately, no. you could use a service called Light Stream to stream via any console and have alerts. the way it works is that when you hit go live, Light Stream captures your stream first, then send it to the platform of your choice with alerts and what not all without a PC to stream from. BUT - you need to pay for it. so I normally don't recommend it to anyone. it can also cause a big degrade in image quality as well.

and the free option only allows you to stream 8 hours per MONTH

• from the overlay editor -> data on top -> goal tab -> reset progress of desired goal
• from the dashboard -> activity feed on the left -> widget data on the right -> goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal
  Note: Goal widgets(progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you loose followers/subs

For best console gameplay results, its advised to use a capture card in order to capture the console gameplay and play if via your laptop/pc and then stream that.

If you are intending to use the Playstation (i forgot what its called) stream thing that lets you stream via your own internet to your laptop/pc - that might cause lag for the stream.

As the console is essentially using upload speed, which you generally need for streaming.

hello! i'm a new affiliate, and i had a really nice stream today with tons of engagement. however, after ending my stream, i realized that i'd received an email (from paypal) that somebody had donated a dollar to my stream. this was the first donation i'd received, and it should have pinged a notification both to twitch and to the stream directly in the form of an alert. however, neither of those things happened. subscription notifications and follower notifications are fine, so i can't imagine it's linked to the wrong account or something. the test donation notification also worked on stream elements, so i really don't know what is wrong! any help is appreciated

Hi, i have a problem and a question:

-Problem: during Community Gifts (and maybe direct Gift Subs) the TTS read the activity feed message (sender gift a tier x sub to user) instead of the message I set in the AlertBox setup in the Editor. Or it reads first my message and the the activity feed one.
Activating the "Announce Action" setting it reads both messages, deactivating it it reads only the activity feed (which is in English, and my Italian voice TTS it's a complete mess reading English...).
How can I solve it?

-Question: is it possible to customize followage, accountage and similar commands? I don't find the variables that allows me to do that and I'm wondering if it's possible in the first place.

Hey all! wanted to see if I could get some help on the matter. Trying to set up a countdown through steamelements onto my overlay and worked fine starting off. Once the timer hit 0, I could not see where to "reset" it at all without deleting the overlay and creating a new one or countdown. After a bit, looking back at the overlay with the countdown that reached 0, the countdown itself is just a bunch of congregated dots and not numbers anymore. Getting stuck on this one so any help will be very much appreciated. Thanks!

🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

@onyx oasis 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

@lucid leaf Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

Hi. I have an overlay video in webm format that I'd like to transform to a different aspect ratio inside the overlay editor. It's native resolution is 16:9, but I need to stretch it to 43:18 so it fits my canvas size properly. I can do this in OBS directly using a Media source, but I'd rather put this video into one of my SE overlays instead, but can't seem to find an option for the Video widget. Does anyone know if this is possible to do somehow?

Havent touch them at all, all activated but when I write the command in the chat it wont pick it up at all. And it shouldnt be a problem with nightbot also in the chat does it? I'm doing a 6 hour stream. And at different sections of the stream, I have different activities planned. I'm wondering how I can get a timeline going at the bottom of my overlay, that's synced up with the time.

So basically, it'd be a line with images on it (that I can draw).

But what I don't know how to draw/make is a vertical line (that would indicate what part of the timeline we're in right now) that moves from left to right, over the span of 6 hours...

if you have it set to 100 bits and the bonus is 45

then the minimum is 100 bits before they get a bonus

you can not set the bits amount, you can only choose how many points you give for 100 bits (not for single bit)

It's been updating for about 40 minutes now with no way to cancel or restart. These are only the items I've recently updated - the ones i haven't touched are fine and are still active

10000 of these emotes appear on my screen (covering my whole screen for a few seconds!!). I want to restrict it to around 50.
