That's a bit above my pay grade but many IRL streamers stream to an RTMP server and their OBS is on a single computer and they stream from other computers, phones, LiveU, etc to THAT server then that server is what's actually connecting to Twitch.
I have companies I could recommend but it costs money and also I'd have to whisper it to you because that's probably against some rule.

Having some issues with host alerts. Friends will typically host with just one viewer, but those aren't showing up in OBS or Creator Dash. However, I received a host with 15 views that did show up in OBS...but not Creator Dash. Anyone know why or can point me to some resources to resolve this?

- All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
- Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money.

Hi, so... I'm having literally the saame issue on Twitch that Ivan above said. I have a stream active, and sent an emulated alert to my stream, and the Overlay Customizer said that the alert had been sent, but they are muted in the activity feed and Ground Control. They are not set to be muted.
I get follows and I hear nothing unless I have the stream itself open.
Having a second monitor would alleviate the issue partially, but having an auditory alert noise would be beneficial.

- All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
- Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

I very recently did a rebrand including changing my username. That went flawlessly for the most part! However, I'm having an issue with the chat in my overlay and Kappagen.
For both: BTTV and FFZ emotes don't show up anymore, in chat only the text is displayed in chat instead.
Kappagen: Emote Explosions don't work anymore, also when I try to "select emotes" none show up.

Hey everyone, we have chosen our own audio samples for alerts and also as redeemable items in our store to play live on stream when redeemed. All of our alert visuals work but the audio is not played on stream, same with when someone redeems an audio sample it doesn't play live on stream.... BUT from our streaming PC we can hear all the alert and redeem audio samples but it's not played out on stream....
I have the audio set to "monitor and output" via OBS Studio. Is it an issue maybe the audio is the wrong file type? I have no idea and it's driving me nuts, been trying to sort this for months now 😦 any help appreciated

- 2 PC setup
- If streaming PC is not producting the sound towards the stream, it might be an OBS thing.

It's a 3 pc setup, wife and I splitscreen stream, makes it more confusing but all the audio from the gaming pc's is absolutely fine it's just purely the alert sounds.

Hi there! I was hoping to get some troubleshooting help on the bot timers - so far the offline timer doesn't appear to be doing it's job-
The bot is definitely active in my channel and responds to commands!

I am still having trouble getting my alerts to work and I just don't know where to start.
When ever I trigger a test via streamelemnts.com, everything seems to be working fine. Then, sometimes at the very same day, sometimes the next day, my alerts don't get triggered by events happening on Twitch.
Any idea where I should start looking for mistakes I have made?
Edit: I am running to seperate Overlays at the moment. One for the scene itself (Chat, Top donations etc) and one for the alerts.

Hi there, I recently changed my name on twitch and the chatbot no longer works with chat commands and I cant find how to re add the chatbot

@hushed pulsar If you changed your name on Twitch please follow these steps:
🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Have you made sure that your chat lines aren't set too high?

If you set it to 0 it'll go off after the timer for sure, if you set it to anything higher than 0 the bot will check those chat lines are in your chat within the last 5 minutes of whatever timeframe you set

My streamelements editor works well, but the "Launch" option doesn't show the overlay that normally appears in the editor, so it doesn't show in OBS either.

@patent wraith Due to a recent change from Twitch API, these features are affected by the change:
- Ground Control does not have Custom Bot Name
- Subscriber count will count the Channel and any other permanent sub you may have (+1 or +2 or +3 on top).
We are working on fixing both issues, but there is no ETA.
OBS.Live still has Custom Bot name working fine in it.

Hey. I am trying to setup an overlay and use OBS Live but when I set the height and width to 1920x1080 it isn't showing the whole image or resizing it. I've tried changing the sizes in OBS and in the editor but I'm having no luck to be honest.

custom bot name in GC is broken anyway, you can have it, but not before tomorrow morning because a staff member needs to activate it manually since Twitch changed the API 😦

Howdy! I'm using OBS Live with the StreamElements plugins and its been working great for a while. However stream on last night reported that some of the donations were not getting properly alerted on stream. I tried using the preview ones in the overlay editor and it works from there, but I wanna know if that issue might happen again and how to fix it.

Can anyone help me with an issue I'm having with Ground Control? It won't run for some odd reason. Yesterday, it was working perfectly fine when I opened the installer, but now, the installer just closes when it reaches 100 percent. Nothing happens. I've tried resetting my pc, reinstalling Ground Control, EVERY SINGLE THING and it won't work.

I enabled tts on my alerts earlier today and saved the changes, however, alerts are still not being read out. Did I do something wrong? I set the minimum amount to .01 for donations and 1 for bits and subs.
