Hi I am trying to figure out this issue I am having. I have a tip alert from streamelements and it works fine. However I am getting the original short tip sound over a custom sound i uploaded. So essentially it plays 2 sounds even though the only sound I have active for the tip alert is my custom one as well as a custom image. I can't seem to figure out why it is doing that and how to get rid of it.

It's an alert box widget and even though I have the rest of the alerts unchecked those alert sounds still play over my streamlabs alert whenever I get a follow or subscriber. I just unchecked and removed the sound from all the other alerts in the alert box so I hope that helps it but it is quite strange that even with the boxes unchecked that every alert wants to play a sound.

But it's not the double alerts I am hearing. I am hearing a strange beep sound which is the original tip alert sound from the alert box widget. So when I go to upload my own custom sound and then test on streamelements it plays the custom sound and the original tip alert sound.

If you want, remove the browser source that holds just this alert widget/overlay

and emulate a tip

Hello 🙂 It is possible for me to do that with the same !command, the BOT sends 2 different messages, for example: If I just type !command, the BOT responds "Hello, you need to check a @nick". If I type !command @nick the bot responds "Hello @nick".

I managed to create a command that, if I type !command, the bot selects a random person in the chat and if I type !command @nick, the bot marks the specific person. But this command I can only send the same message, changing only who the bot marks at random or specifying. I tried to adapt to this other model, but I couldn't. I used the following code: ${1|${random.chatter}}. But thanks anyway 🙂 I'll keep trying here following this same line of thought here.

Hi there! I'm having an issue with the StreamElements plugin for Elgato's Stream Deck. It was installed and then one day it wasn't. And no matter what I've tried, from reinstalling OBS StreamElements and the Stream Deck software, to eventually reinstalling Windows 10 itself, this plugin will not install. I have a video of it I took using OBS, if I'm allowed to post it.

Hello. For a month or so I've been having issues with the media request feature. Other streamers don't seem to have this problem. The volume slider seems to be missing, I'd have to use the actual youtube video to adjust the volume which also means i have to show the video on stream in order to fiddle with it. Every now and then the music will automatically pause, skip, or play in the middle of the song. It's acting up. I've tried this with other browsers and I get the same issue.

Okay, I found it. It was in the hidden apps folder. I deleted it. Then I went to StreamDeck to install the plugin, and to my surprise it worked! And then.... McAfee popped up and said it has just stopped a virus. /sigh

@hexed bison If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification. Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money.

🔹 Post your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

I’ve been having issues with gettin the host/raid to fire off every time. It seems to only fire sometimes. Does not even show obs.live plugin activity tab. We generally don't recommend updating OBS immediately after a big new update like this, as it takes times to patch out the kinks. OBS Project themselves recommend reverting to 24.0.3 if things are not up to expectation.

Also is it possible to have different length alerts for the store redemption widget? @tepid kraken Transcoding, at present, is vaguely bound to your presence on Twitch. Twitch Partners have guaranteed access to transcoding. Twitch Affiliates have "priority" access after that.

Non-affiliates are then third in line, which means they can and will be granted access depending on transcoding demands elsewhere on the site. This is usually determined via algorithm and seems to take into account your average viewership in recent broadcasts.

Twitch tries to provide transcoding options to every broadcaster, but with the website being as large as it is with as many content creators as it has, it can't guarantee that access for everyone

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

it can be named via obs.live on your docc view "activity feed" hit the hamburger menu then stream settings scroll down a lil and you will see "custom bot name" 🙂

if you want to do a different name other than your broadcasting name then yes you will have to create the account name you want the bot as
