There is a known bug with the latest version of SE.Live and it can be fixed by downloading and installing OBS Studio from https://obsproject.com/

If you do not touch anything else during the install prompts, except the button "Next", all your profile data and scenes should be stored. If you are afraid of loosing them, make sure you do a backup!
If OBS for some reason doesn't open and you want to manually backup your files, open file explorer and paste this into the location bar on top: open file explorer -> %appdata%\obs-studio\basic -> copy the 2 folders there

Goto your dashboard then navigate to chatbot > commands > create a custom command or change a command to be "broadcaster only" for the level. Then try to use it. Does the command work? great, you're good to go. No? then let us know

Not sure which channel to ask this but, for the Stream Element Overlays, If you have multiple accounts for Stream Elements (Twitch, YouTube, Trovo) and you go to the My Overlays section and click DUPLICATE on the overlay, it gives you the option to send it to other accounts to use. Isn’t it supposed to copy everything over including all the settings and ready to use?? Nothing is transferring over properly.

I have a question about a specific custom command that I have an issue with.
We have a running joke in a stream, that the streamer does not read messages (which he does, profusely)
So basically this is what I'm trying to do:
I want to make a command, that reads out the senders last message, but in caps lock.
first issue I get, that streamelements only reads the command as the last messsage
for example when the command is !doesnotread and response is ${user.lastmessage}, streamelements then only responses with "!doesnotread"
What I want is that StreamElements reads the message BEFORE the command.
Is that even possible?

Is your hardware acceleration checkbox enabled or disabled? What is the resolution of your overlay in your OBS Browser source properties, and what type of alert "image" are you using? is it a png? gif? jpg?

It was enabled. The alert image is a gif, and has 800 x 600 dimensions since it's a square image
WELP ok turns out I just needed to put it to the dimensions of twitch
i put them at 1920 x 1080 and now they work

You don't need to uninstall, just install OBS on top of your current instance. takes maybe 5 min and you don't lose any data

We opened obs which has stream elements integrated. We were getting an oops / error on our stream elements panels within obs. We logged out of stream elements in obs. Closed obs and restarted the computer and now obs won't open when we click obs or the stream elements icon on our desktop????

I have a question about a specific custom command that I have an issue with.
We have a running joke in a stream, that the streamer does not read messages (which he does, profusely)
So basically this is what I'm trying to do:
I want to make a command, that reads out the senders last message, but in caps lock.
first issue I get, that streamelements only reads the command as the last messsage
for example when the command is !doesnotread and response is ${user.lastmessage}, streamelements then only responses with "!doesnotread"
What I want is that StreamElements reads the message BEFORE the command.
Is that even possible?

It also isn't effecting all users. Like I was able to go live myself, where minutes earlier I was having issues. It's seemingly a bit of a hit and miss or Twtich is hot on getting it fixed and fixed it on the server. Just have patience and it will get resolved.

Got rid of duplicated [startstreaming] also just by installing OBS from the web over currently installed files.... SE.live working fine now

Impact seems to be slowly fading away. So more and more people should be able to stream now.
No official update from Twitch yet but they most likely release that once they see a huge impact loss. So go Live and get some!

Okay, I have a weird problem and I expect my inability to word it is why I can't find a solution. But basically my OBS has StreamElements loaded twice, so it shows up twice in my menus up top, I have two StreamElements Live Support buttons, and two Start Streaming buttons. Anybody know how to fix this? Thanks you for your time.

Try this:
- Go to the OBS download site and download the OBS for your OS
- Follow the steps (close OBS if u have it running) and finish
- Problem is solved and all your data (overlays, scenes etc) are still there
