To set up the bot for your YouTube stream, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
2. Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
3. Go to https://studio.youtube.com/, click on Settings > Community and add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements or https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjerlCIbLPQwSnYlClkjDXg as a Moderator.
4. When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Actually its pretty much @dreamy auroras question. I was told to keep track of the usernames of the players when there goals don't track. I kept track of the usernames but was told theres nothing wrong with the tracking prior to giving them the usernames. I gave them the usernames in hopes they would look into it like I was told they would. But theres just been no response. Its fine if there not valid downloads but i went through the effort of trying to keep track of the users shouldn't it be looked into? Im fine if they say oh this user was a duplicate account and this one installed with a vpn and this one didnt download through your link. But without me knowing that information how are we supposed to do any sort of quality control? Are we as the streamer just supposed to have faith we will get paid if the credit was deserved and when its not just take your word for it without asking any questions. I had a previous sponsorship where the same thing happened I had issues and I was 100% able to prove there was something wrong with the tracking but they tried to tell me nothing was wrong. How can I just have faith when ive experianced that? and I was never even told what happened to cause that. They still hold to there was nothing wrong with the system when that was literally impossible.

It was working fine previously (just using the normal overlay, not elements), using "Member Alert" as the option - it won't play any of the variations, no matter what the amount of gifted memberships was. i.e. if someone gifts 10, this variation never plays. Its not like the final tally or anything I think in the end there were 2 rallies more than headquarters 5 but at least you get to see your not alone lol and like I said they did end up paying me for it so its not like an active issue but they tried to get away with saying there's no issue and still have not admitted there ever was one.

Hi all, does anyone else have trouble with overlay Elements? My followers goal widget is bound to total session followers but it seems to be forever stuck at 35?

I've tried making a new widget and resetting my widget data but nothing seems to work, it's just been stuck at 35 for ages? (and I definitely dont get that kind of following in 1 session)

I had an issue with my bot yesterday
During a followbot attack (yay) I timed it out to prevent messages. The bot didn't work after the timeout so I tried modding it again just in case. For the rest of the night it only did alerts, no custom commands at all. I saw this message on my dashboard and clicked the button and authorized and stuff but it is still there.
I DID manage to get custom commands to work again and it is modded in my twitch role manager
I just don't know how to get rid of this message

I am using the same widget but I do not have this issue. For me it is counting subs AND gifted ones.

Why when I play certain games, does the audio meters visual representation lag?

The stream, OBS and the audio are just fine and unaffected when this happens, its just visually annoying and hard to get a good "real time" representation of the current volume level

I just have some new information from support, that new Emotes will be added automatically, but it takes some time. With the command !emotes update in the chat, you can speed this up, and it will be visible right away.

Make sure you're adjusting the alert box on both StreamElements so that it fully shows, and in your obs so that the box isn't half hidden. Try expanding the box in OBS

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Hey everyone hope all is going well. I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but I have a couple of small issue with alerts. I use streamlabs for my alerts and I use the retrowave ones, but for some reason when the alert is triggered a part of the bottom isn't there it's like it's not centred.
My other issue is when my bit alert is triggered it's just a generic alerts but when I test it, it comes up as the retrowave alert.
Sorry if these issues have been gone over a thousand times but any help with these would be massively appreciated

"Stream Star Trek Fleet Command with branded assets for 2 hours or more within the 8-day campaign window". It seems I need to stream the game, but I see other creators only putting the assets and not streaming the game, which I would much prefere 😄

There's the allocated time you have play the game with the overlay as indicated in the "goals".

After that you can have just the overlay going while playing other stuff.

Hi, I encountered the same problem and managed to find out that the loyalty points disappear for those who have less than 100 points or do not have much watch time. I do not know what the exact threshold is for watch time, I added 1000 minutes for the viewer and after that their loyalty points were not deleted, even if they did not have 100 points. So I suggest to give watch time if someone complains about disappearing points.

I got a question, is there a reason why the sponsorships always stop counting signups? The last three sponsorships I had it seems they only count the first 1 or 2 signups and then if you have any more you have to make sure they’re verified and open a ticket.
Whst about the people that download the game, do the steps, and just assume the counter will work and don’t tell me / take a screen shot? I have like 5 signups that went all the way to the fourth level of the rules and nothing to show for it.

Hi, I have a problem, obs has stopped showing the browser's own dock. I had stream elements Activity feed in the dock. and suddenly stopped displaying it. during a new attempt at a new dock, I found out that the element updates the Activity feed and now it is no longer for one platform but for multiple platforms. both twitch and Youtube which is great but it stopped showing. normally in the browser I give elements I log in to the Activity feed I give it to show in a new window I copy the address and open it in obs doki and create a new one I put the address there and it starts loading, the first line is displayed there for a second and then just a gray screen. what about where can be the problem? obs can't display it or what can someone advise about it? I used it a lot and I even had two windows, youtube feed and twitch feed, and when they were combined, it is much better for me, I don't have to switch, but how to make it work, in my opinion, it won't show any internal browser in obs, how to do it?

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

goodnightt, I have the YouTube account connected and Twitch too, but there is a problem.
I stream on Twitch but the Donations don't appear either in the chat or in the stream, I went to check everything and didn't fix the problem, with everything, I went to create the alerts on YT (I gave Twitch dupe -> YouTube) and amazingly it worked (and I don't know why) that is, I copied the alert link to YT and it worked, but I would like to have everything associated with Twitch as I can only see donations through YouTube

Please logout of StreamElements at https://streamelements.com/logout and then login again to your account (Twitch/YouTube/Trovo/X).

Othewise they'd need to be on the proper platform for it to show in first place.

If it still isn't playing nice then they'd need to make a ticket.

We don't support combining anything outside of the activity feed so that would be the only way you'd have notifs for both platforms.

And you'd need 2 overlays to receive alerts for both platforms but that becomes fun due to possible overlap for the previously mentioned reason and no queue.
