as a troubleshooting precauting just remove the browser sources and see if that still happens and if not, disable hardware acceleration for browser in obs settings and re-add your browser sources

click on Settings then Advanced and scroll down till you see "Enable Browser Hardware Acceleration" and untick that

then just click apply and restart obs for good measurement and test again

so i swapped 50 times back and forth between scenes with no browser sources then swapped like 10 or so times and it crashed

imma try that hardware accel

changing hardware accel seems to have worked in stopping it crashing let's see if it holds up for a stream or two

Hi. Alerts sound normal and fine through OBS and when emulated from OBS to alert, but using the Streamelements site and emulating from the browser, the alerts sound distorted and robotic. I have tried to remove and re-input the browser, and its still doing the same thing. Alerts sound distorted to the viewers and myself when emulating from the browser. It will work when it wants and will start to sound robotic at random times.

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Hi I am trying to open up the SE.Live docks tab in OBS and it isn't working. I've uninstalled SE.Live, restarted my Computer) and reinstalled it. I've uninstalled OBS and reinstalled OBS then SE.Live and SE.Live dock tab still doesn't open. When I uninstalled OBS the only thing I didn't uninstall was the Scenes/Settings because I didn't want to have to redo all the scenes, sources and keybinds again

How do I get streamelements to mod my chat on youtube?

Say I do all the available sponsorships. Will there eventually be new ones to replace them? Also, for the sponsorships with no spots left, I am assuming they will open up again soon? Completely new to this, although the first 2 have gone well and I have received payment!

Open an overlay with the editor and press F12.
Switch to the network tab and in the editor open up the way to upload images/videos/audio.
Press F5 and navigate to that same window where you should have some things appearing in the initial place like this.
You should have a filter option above this with the Img/Media options. Previewing audio files will make them appear while images/videos should auto show when "loaded".

To grab them right click the item when highlighted and open in new tab.

okay so i think i did it right, but when i go to request types in the filter tab the options it gives me are images and media (along with some others but not videos/audio). i went through all of the media and it's just the videos that streamelements provides as tutorials

Go to Youtube Studio, settings, community and add the channel of stream elements (that you can find in search, ONLY WITH THE VERIFICATION MARK) to standard moderator.

SE can't configure your channel, it is just for configuring your live in Youtube.

You can do that but you will need a variation for every group of bits. So one from 0-24, one from 26-49, etc.

I'm still pretty sure it is because of the encoder you're using. AMD isn't known for the most bug-free implementations of different features.

AMD's GPU-tied encoder isn't very good anyways. If your CPU has a dedicated encoder like Intel QSV, you could try using that without using your CPU's resources by using x264. Can't really help much with AMD stuff, since I have had Nvidia & Intel almost all my life.

If it's the encoder's fault then you pretty much have to use either of those options with their drawbacks.

You could try uninstalling your GPU drivers with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and then reinstalling them, which should remove all remnants of old driver files too, but it can reset your GPU-related settings, so be aware of that. That could help if it is a driver-related issue.

But the cause can be something else as well, just my educated guess.

Maybe the last idea I have is that if you have 2 or more monitors with different refresh rates, try using them using the same refresh rate and see if that makes the problem go away. AMD drivers are pretty buggy, even though they have gotten more stable than they used to be.

If you had included more information that you had provided in the OBS discord, it would have helped a lot. And they did a good job of giving you a resolution.

If it were the GPU or encoder, it should happen on a recording and on the stream. Since it doesn't happen in recordings, the issue is most probably related to your internet or a Twitch issue.

To set up the bot for your YouTube stream, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
2. Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
3. Go to https://studio.youtube.com/, click on Settings > Community and add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements or https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjerlCIbLPQwSnYlClkjDXg as a Moderator.
4. When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

Can anybody help with activity on FB not synching on SE's activity feed? The only activity that's counted are "likes", I've been reporting this in the support team and they only reply that they are aware of this issue and been working on it since. It's been years since I've reported this every quarter since 2021 and til now I only get the same reply every single time.

Some factors on top of my head is that my previous page was merged to a newer one and this might have caused the problem. I can't really remember if it started right away because of the merge.

got a short question with the customapi variable. I have my own api, and i guess (and asked SE staff prior to this) the bot can only send GET requests.
I have my api, which listens to exact that GET request and then continues to do its own shit, not related to the prior performed command, the bot will just get a return out of this.
If i perform the command tho, the bot tells me "unable to make request".
Any help or do you suggest to open a ticket?

To display my latest followers/subs/cheers etc... on my streams, I use the "Alpha Rotating Feed" widget from StreamElements, and I'd like to use the "Century Gothic" typography for this widget, but it's not present in the drop-down list on the top left, The only solution I have left is to convert my typeface with Font Squirrel and then modify the widget's CSS "font-family" code to include my typeface, but as I have no knowledge of CSS code I'd like some help to be able to install the "Century Gothic" on the widget.
Is there anyone among you who could help me ?

Hey all, wanted to know if anyone is experiencing OBS locking up with OBS30 with SE live. Just updated to OBS 30, had it crashing all night while I was trying to get a new audio controller set up. Thought it was the audio controller so did a fresh install of OBS30. Blank canvas it was fine, installd all my plugins (updated to OBS30) and installed SE Live for the same result to happen. Removed plugins (except SE Live) and again same result. Removed SE Live and issue stopped. Installed all of my plugins without SE and no issues.

There is a way you can...but depends on platforms. Would also require having Aitum Vertical.

Say, you're only streaming to Twitch and YouTube. You can make your separate browser source for YouTube (even duplicate from your Twitch) for almost everything. Alerts and all, but have to set them up.

Use Aitum and build a whole different set of scenes, change the layout to 1920x1080 and there you would have both of your chats showing on screen. YouTube will only see their chat, Twitch will see theirs. Channel point redeems can show if you nest scene them on the YT side and have each platform seeing their own chat.

Downside is that it isn't combined, but this way you can achieve it in some way.

I don't understand why, since the glabal emotes do show them.

I'm also having an issue with BTTV and 7TV, but in my case they will just randomly stop displaying in my SE chat overlay. Some days it works, some days it doesn't, and I'm not changing any settings in between. The emotes all display correctly in the chat module in OBS, just not in the chat widget going to stream.

Does anybody know how to use the Latest Ticker Component? I want to use it to show latest follow, donations, subs and so on as a breaking news banner. But sometimes the text stops and disappears for no reason and appears after a minute or so. the second image shows the configuration of the component. Bot Count starts at 0 when widget starts even though counts are non-zero values. Widgets then update when the first update to the counter is performed. Is there something that needs to be done on the widget side to enable the update on load? It appears this started happening since the Counters were added to the website as a seperate page.
