I got a backpack, a coupe, a plan to flood the stocks with corn…. I recommend farming crops that have multiple harvests and using FERTILIZER

lots and LOTS of fertilizer

The faster you can increase your farming level, the better, especially for quality crops

But you can’t do anything wrong when doing the game when it comes to progress and what you want to do

If you mess up on that day, just go back to the menu and load back in, it restarts the day

Just do yourself a favor and get to quality sprinklers, which is obtained by increasing farming level

• fish smoker recipe from willy for 10k and craft it yourself OR if you are lucky, you could get 1 free smoker from the prize machine (you have a 50/50 chance of getting dehydrator or smoker)

then smoke fish with coal, fish with higher base price e.g. sturgeon in summer
the process is fast, iirc 50 mins? per fish so you don't need that many smokers

to pair with the fish smoker, you can use a bait machine to make targeted bait for specific fishes. the recipe is unlocked at fishing level 6

one more thing - for smoked fish, farming level 10 profession artisan (40%) stacks with fishing level 10 profession angler (50%), so if you want max profit, you can wait until you have both professions first then you sell the smoked fish

okay, i think obsidian edge will do for the time being (or consider buying steel falchion)
||the goal of skull caverns is often money making, as well as some goodies like autopetters.
staircases + bombs are the best way to prep for them. good prep can help a lot even if you're not very confident in combat!

to get more staircases, put a jade in the crystalarium you got from the bundle, they will duplicate, and every sunday you'd be able to trade jades for staircases at the desert trader. 5 quartz for 1 bomb can also be traded there.

go early, on a max luck day, it will be easier for you to find staircases/shafts, bring spicy eels (trade rubies w desert trader, available everyday), and coffee/triple shot espresso (trade diamonds w desert trader, available everyday)
healing food options that people recommend are salads, cheese. if you don't have access to these 2 then i'll give other alternatives as well. bring your bombs, don't waste too much time slaying enemies, focus on getting as deep as you can and just bombing ores.

to get there early, bring your spare omnigeodes to the desert and trade for a warp totem.

once you get , you'll be able to have access to a better weapon, which will in turn help smooth out your future runs.|| @night girder

oh rings! you can slay 500 , and get a burglar's ring, helps you get more loot when slaying monsters. otherwise iridium band (if you have one), or at the very least, have some kind of magnet ring/glowstone ring

the 1st trip is always the most daunting, but once you get your first it will get easier!

green rain is just a neat event that allows you to collect moss and fiber, chop the curly looking trees if you see them (drops fiddlehead ferns), and you can go talk to the villagers if you want to, in y1 they have interesting dialogue
