Both of these are obtainable from mobs in the mines, even fairly reliably

ancient seeds drop from bugs, mostly found on floors 15 and 25, its a 0.5% chance but with a decent weapon they are one hits so it shouldnt take you too long to find one

I frequently manage to find one in spring or summer y1

Similar story for coffee beans, they drop from dust sprites, most commonly found on floors 45, 55 and 65. They are great to farm in any case since they drop coal and unlock one of the best rings in the game by slaying 500 of them in total

For the mines all you really need is a decent weapon and maybe some food every now and then

Definitely makes farming easier upgrading the hoe & watering can. I use the watering can with sprinklers as I’m gaining material to make more.

You still have to hoe every month if you dont plant wheat or something cheap on last day so I'd say its worth it even if you use sprinklers

Yeah about there. Mid game happens at different points in the game for everyone. Some people take longer to do CC and others do it faster
