for anything combat-related, try and find/craft some rings. there should be some you can make in your crafting menu. Get the best weapon you can find. bring A LOT of food. preferably things that boost speed and heal a lot. good luck days can also make it easier in terms of enemy spawns

you can get some cool rings/weapons by completing the monster slayer goals in the adventurer's guild.

Not quite sure of how multiple cabins would go and if they'd have to be unique devices then for each.
