I think I angered Zeus. I struggled for the entirety of year 1 to get battery packs because it just would not thunderstorm, leaving my 12 lightning rods starving and worthless... then in the middle of summer year 2 I decided to plant 10 mahogany trees, hooked them up with tree fertilizer, and the very next day the seeds I planted got struck by lightning. SIX OF THEM.

Nothing else on my farm got hit, other than most of my lightning rods. Some of them didn't get hit, but over half of the trees I planted and fertilized were gonzo.

I prefer the community center for 3 reasons. One, it gives me an excuse to engage with pretty much every part of the game. Two, I dislike Joja on principle...that bit I said earlier about "some people have to work" etc. is something my manager actually said to me when I worked at Wal-Mart. Three, you actually get a LOT of free stuff as a reward for the effort.
