The thing with potatoes in spring is that you want your money on the 13th for the egg fest, to buy strawberry seeds. If you don't use speed gro, your first crop of potatoes planted day 1 harvests 6 days later on the 7th. Then your second crop planted on the 7th harvests on the 13th -- but you can't sell them that day because town is shut down for the festival. Cauliflower also has this problem. So you either need to use speed gro, in which case I would consider cauliflower if you don't have enough sprinklers for your potatoes, or you need to do 1 round of potatoes and 1 round of parsnips. @toxic osprey

I like to put all my muns into the farm til later in the summer/ fall y1, then upgrade fishing pole/backpack later when I have more disposable money
