Hops is high maintenance. Also, I believe there is a reason why AF over hops. AF is around the year (except winter) while hops are just summer. If you count greenhouse, yeah, it might profit you, but kegs take longer than what it takes to harvest

Yeah per crop indoors hops are better than af, sf, and any crop outside of trees. They’re also a lot of work, requiring twice as many kegs, not being usable in dehydrators or jars, and requiring 7x the harvesting as af while also having a layout that makes them annoying to work with

They’re absolutely not worth it if you value your time which could be used elsewhere making the profit that overcomes the small deficit that ancient fruit is put in
