It's for Gold Mystery Box. Every box drop seems to be replaced by Gold Boxes unlike fishing, which does not always spawn gold chests.

Also, Mystic Trees make Mushroom Logs likely to produce Purple Mushrooms.

I tried using Dragon Tooth to forge one of my Dwarf Sword. It got +1 speed and -5 weight. Added 2 rubies and 1 emerald as usual.

Can a sub-15 weapon that can accept Dragon Tooth forge potentially outclass Galaxy/Infinity weapon?

I went to casino during Desert Festival where I can stack even more luck...even with just +1 luck from Spicy Eel (can't find Lucky Lunch anywhere), +1 from Ginger Ale, however much from restaurant, and a good luck (not best) day I won 100k coins from the slots.

Pine trees give chanterelles which are good too. Since oaks are necessary for wine empire, pines remain weaker because they have a worst synergy. Avoid maple trees near shroom logs though as they give red shrooms which are not processable.

I think it is about 5. There is also a synergy with moss : shroom logs increase the quality output when there is moss around. I process everything that is not iridium quality.

common shrooms go to dehydrators, purple and morels to jars.

This is mine on 12th fall Y1. I do not have much hardwood. Trees refused to spread properly. There are like 30 mushroom logs in there.

I'm running a test to see just how profitable. I have 1 Legend, 1 Crimsonfish, 1 Glacierfish, as well as 1 sturgeon and a couple each of blobfish and lava eel. I'm saving up a year's worth of aged roe and selling it all at once so I can see just what the numbers are. I wasn't impressed last year with the Legend drops being so damned scarce.
I'll post the numbers here when I'm done with year 5. Should be interesting.

I did the maths and the legend pond is 2.5x more profitable than blobfish. Issue being legendary fish ponds have a big variance compared to blobfish.

You can do the same, iirc, by giving them a bouquet right before the Flower Dance and then dancing with them at the festival. I think it gives you a 2-heart increase with your dance partner. At least I trust David was right about it. LOL

Fishponds are way less reliable than shroom logs. I do not want to check every day something that has chances to spawn stuff while my shrooms are tuned like a swiss clock AND benefit from rain.

I've seen all the math. And the claims of getting roe every few days. I'm not satisfied with either. So I'm conducting my own experiment.

I went 6 weeks without roe from the Legend last year. But I got two drops in the first couple of weeks of this year. It will take a year, maybe a couple, to get an accurate picture.

I caught the legend, 1 week before the end of spring Y1(Got a lucky +3 fishing meal drop from a mystery box as I was level 9 in fishing). The 2 first roe spawns gave a huge boost as I was struggling to make money with crops since you know, beach map. Now the pond spawns stuff very rarely, it is good if it does, but I do not count on it. My shrooms are the backbone of my economy.
