mods can do a lot! for example: i have a lot of cutesy mods ( mods that change all my farm buildings to pink, make the fences white/pink, make the animal/people sprites look ‘cuter’, and two of them—ridgeside and expanded—even add a ton of additional content and npcs. i also have mods for like ui interface ( it is magical girl/sailor moon themed ), dynamic reflection ( makes puddles after rain ), and visible fish ( makes the fish you can catch seeable in the water ).

The mushrooms a better money if you're selling them, and decent for early game energy. Plus in 1.6 you get a free ||Dehydrator from it, which is nice I geuss||
