• Some have multiple answers (no, it's a shame + yes, it's disgusting + yes, but you should still for example)
• There's no such thing as "bad choices" in the game. If you feel like you chose the wrong spec you can just change it later in the game
• you can choose whichever you want. wilderness is the only map which spawns monsters by default but it's no real harder than forest or so. It's mostly down to which looks aesthetically pleasing to you and which trait you want (more farm space > standard, fishing > riverland, mining > hillop)
