The problem with auto combat on mobile ||when it comes to slime breeding and caring for in the slime hutch. It immediately kills off any slimes you recently hatched and it's happened twice to me because it takes long for the egg to hatch and I was freaking out trying to stop my character from slaying the only slime I had.|| (I don't know if this counts as a spoiler for new players but I'm spoilering it anyways)

my best advice is to get some money fast if on 1.5, is wild seeds by getting some forage items for spring like the wild horsedash, dandelion, daffodil, and leek to donate to the community center, you want to also collect fiber from weeds on your farm and wood with that. you could also get your hearts with caroline to 2 by talking to her everyday and gifting her. when you get onto summer, the thing to give her is sweet peas. they are easy foragables. once you do all of that, you'll have enough to make her tea saplings and sell them for 500g each. (250 on 1.6, its still decent) to get them, you have to go to carolines garden in pierres kitchen, next to the counter. you will get her tea event there.
