To put into perspective how good sprinklers are... During the first 2 weeks of each playthrough I only plant like 20 crops, and spend the free time getting 40 sprinklers

U can start with basic sprinklers, albeit useless and less efficient late game it might help u early on. And u can change once u obtain recipe for quality sprinklers.
