I went down today with newly purchased Lava Katana, 15-20 bombs, and about seven staircases and I spent the entire day getting to level 35-36 where I finally saw one iridium node that got me 6 ore. Twas a tough day down there.

It can be very luck dependant but you can also increase your luck and speed stat to make things easier. Try going on a best luck day with spicy eel and coffee, and get even more bombs

Yep animals need hay, but they can also eat grass so if you plant some under the fence it will keep growing and animals can’t eat it

Basically, it's "Choice between two professions related to the skill" followed by "Choice between two advanced professions related to the choice you picked at level 5"

So if you pick the crop-related skill instead of the animal-related skill at level 5. You get crop-related "advanced" skills. Like Artisan and Tiller
