Id recommend cultivating the blue grass in a way, so getting a silo and carefully scything the regular grass in most areas so that the blue grass can spread all over your farm

but leave some areas for normal grass to spread and scythe

You start with a small coop and a fenced area with grass, your two chickens wont be able to eat all of that in the beginning anyway so dont worry about that for now

once you start getting more animals just place some fences etc in a few places

and should you start getting a lot of animals just move the animal buildings to the areas where you've let your grass spread

Biggest tip for that that place ||Pause often while in the skull cavern. Pausing lets you look around a bit, mentally process where you saw enemies, check for Ladders/SHafts, and most impotantly STOPS time. This means enemies arent moving and damaging you, it allows you to move your food or select a slot with food, so that when you unpause you can immediately eat. Don't panic while in SC, don't try to fight back, and don't try to scroll to your food while running around||

||Go on good luck days with a Galaxy Sword or Steel Falchion, don't get Lava Katana. Make sure you have Staircases in case you're in a sticky situation too. Also, get three kinds of foods: food you can get to regenerate health and energy (like cheese and salad), food that buff you up (like spicy eel) and drinks that buff you up (like triple shot espresso). Speed and luck is usually the best food buffs. Bombs are good to destroy stones quickly and find shafts and ladders||

They give +1 speed, but TSE lasts longer

You can grind for it it's not insanely hard

||That's fine, Steel Falchion (from the Adventurer's Guild) will do. A semi-decent Skull Cavern run is highly likely to get you a few Prismatic Shards||

Obsidian Edge isn't the best sword since it has a -1 Speed debuff, compared to Steel Falchion's +4 Speed buff
