Lots to do - you start with 500 gold so you can go to pierres shop and buy some more crops to start. You can run around and pick up foragables and fishing is a really good way to make money early game

I would also recommend cutting down some trees so you can make a few storage chests 🙂

oh the greenhouse you can plant any crop you want in and it will grow no matter what season it is

honestly fruit trees can be nice in there, some people do things like coffee or ancient seeds that they find in the mines and stuff like that

Most people I've seen eventually turn it into an ancient fruit factory, sometimes with s side of coffee plants.

personally i recommend crops that keep being able to be harvested without replanting because it saves you the work of keeping track of it and trying to rebuy seeds off season
