You can join other player's farms, but only the Host of the farm actually owns that file. If you weren't the host you can't rejoin that farm unless they're also playing.

Either player can host their own files and allow others to join.

Really, just stop thinking of it as 'player' files, and instead think of it as 'Farm' files. There are no farmers that you can move between farms, it's just the Farm itself, and any farmer created in that world stays in that world.

Farmer save slots are the Cabins themselves. If you delete a cabin off a farm that someone was occupying, it DELETES that farmer from that save file.

Intead of spending time hitting regular rocks, go for the Light Gray ones, they're always drop stone and beneift from the Miner perk at level 5 mining. Also mine the large boulders.

You get multiple potatoes when you harvest but you only harvest once

If you screw up it can take an extra year just waiting for a specific season to loop through again
