So each parsnip will have 26% chance of being gold upon harvest

On average you will need 16 parsnips to have good odds of getting at least the 4 you need

Each coffee tree will keep producing beans every two days until the end of Summer (2 seasons). Each time they typically give you more than one bean. You can plant coffee beans directly to get more trees until you're comfortable with what you have and have enough beans saved up for next year. At that point place the beans in a keg to make coffee. That being said, coffee is honestly way more valuable when you drink it yourself

There are a lot of people who speed run the community center to complete it in year 1, but that requires a good deal of planning and sometimes just good luck. So don't stress it, the center sticks around for as long as you want to take 🙂

Just a note, the fishing rods are one tool that doesn't get upgraded through Clint. Instead, they get unlocked for purchase at Willy's shop as you increase in fishing level. The fiberglass rod should be sold after reaching level 2 fishing
