The best way to utilize your mahogany seeds is to let it grow to full size, spend a few days shaking the tree and waiting for it to drop some seeds around it and then chopping it down. They are less likely to drop seeds than other trees so waiting a little while gives you more seeds

Most people use Winter season to decorate around the farm or around town. Yes, it's possible to decorate the town, but be careful in the placement of anything that isn't a floor tile because the NPCs can destroy them!

I also don’t really recommend using any speed gro on it either since it only affects your first harvest in regrowable crops. I’d save fertilizers and speed gros for other crops that may gain more value. (Like speed gro on starfruit or something that isn’t a regrowable crop)
