Hello, i play with a lot of mods, and i was wondering if there was a quick and easy way i could compile the links for them without doing it manually so i could send them to another player?
Also, I’m fairly confident that what was the problem is that I was running smapi 3.13.4 instead of the current 3.18.4 (I just realized that and I feel stupid)

I have a m2 MacBook Air , and downloaded the game from steam. I do all the steps to install smapi, no problems yet and when it is installed and browse nexus and try to install any mod it says “ be sure to have installed smapi” is like it’s not installed , but it is . I don’t understand

Hi there, sorry to interrupt any possible support going on here, but I'm trying to get a bit of help for the Genshin Valley mod (It adds a new shop and crops from Genshin Impact).
Basically, my problem is this. The shop is usually in the CIndersap Forest, but with SVE, it glithces into Andy's farm. The mod creator created an alternate location with instructions on how to install it properly, which I followed and double checked. But for the life of me I cannot find the shop at all. I even tried deleting and redownloading the mod to see if that would work, but so far I've come up short. If anyone has run into a similar problem, any help would be appreciated.

Sure thing! I already took the screenshot to try and find it, and I've looked over the SMAPI log myself and there doesnt seem to be any issues, but a fresh pair of eyes can really help.

If you're using Steam or GOG on Windows, you will need to set your launch options in order for Steam/GOG to automatically launch with SMAPI. The SMAPI installer will tell you what to set as the launch options when it completes (green text). I figured out the issue I was having
the animals dig up their respective items and i didn't know that
they do not lay the eggs

yeah, I don't think there's much in the game as such to help me. I've already completely reviewed all my current crafting several times, I'm afraid it's one that I don't have unlocked

it's highly possible that you have a mod that has a crafting recipe that is unobtainable
There is a mod that allows you to check what you're missing - logo may have the right of it
that scares me
But there are some mods that don't have that
For example, Always Raining in the Valley currently includes recipes that can't be cooked until Mia/Henry are sociable

The Stardew Checkup site is good for quick glances, too

Are there any particular mods that Better Junimos and Show Birthday mods that doesn't work together with?
I've been having errors from both of these mods from the logs, yet at the same time I can't send the logs due to unable to access it in many ways.

I have a feeling I know what's missing.

As one person's game gets these things triggered, the other person's doesn't - making it impossible for the players to sync

Your cooking recipe is likely something from either Cooking Skill (if it's anything like Love of Cooking) or one of the following mods:
`+ (JA) Adventurer's Guild Expanded 1.0.2
- Joja Cola Restock 2.0.0
- New Objects for Stardew Valley Expanded 1.14.24`
What I would temporarily do is extremely temporarily deactivate SVE, Joja Cola Restock, and AGE, then teleport/walk to Qi's room and check on cooking recipe progress
if disabling those work, then it's an item from one of those. Reactivate them one by one until your cooking percentage isn't 100%.
Once you've found the culprit or culprits? Look into all Cooking Recipes from them.
Maybe but, what I really need is to know what crafts I'm missing, you know, items. I have the complete cooking recipes.

Just because your log doesn't have any errors, doesn't mean it's not useful. There are items in the trace of the log that might help figure out the issue. Regardless of errors or no errors, post your log.

Okay so I have a question about the log I sent... It says something about PyTK and the Bugnet mod.
What does that text jargon mean?

The PyTK mod is now obsolete. You can delete it from your mods folder, and all your mods should be safe.
If you get an error saying you're missing PyTK, open the mod(s) manifest.json and change the PyTK dependency from true to false

The Bug Net notification is nothing to worry about - it's just saying that the mod changes the game code. You can, however, get PFM Automate, if you want mods with producer rules to work with Automate.

In general, you can figure out whether a mod is (most likely) to work with the current version of Stardew Valley based on its update date. This is not a guarantee things will work or not work, but is accurate for most mods.
- 2016: Do not install (meant for incredibly early versions of Stardew)
- 2017: Do not install (meant for pre-multiplayer Stardew)
- 2018: Unlikely to work. If a Content Patcher mod, it might work, but in general it is not likely the mod will work.
- 2019: Content Patcher mods can be tried from here fairly easily. C# mods should still be mostly avoided.
- 2020: Content Patcher mods should work, but may be buggy. C# mods may work, but due to the 1.5 update there may be conflicts.
- 2021+: Should be usable.

sorry if this is very common question but is there any way to get around smapi saying the custom npc exclusions mod is deprecated? i've downloaded older versions of sampi and the non strict versions and cant figure this out

SMAPI 3.18.0 raised deprecation levels to the final stage, meaning SMAPI will now show yellow warning dialogues for mods with deprecated code. For the user, this just means that the mods have old code and will break in SMAPI 4.0 if they are not updated - it is not anything to worry about at this time. (For mod authors, it's a not-nice warning to update your code already!

when i boot up the game it says in the smapi screen it removed them from the game and they aren't in it while i'm playing

I need some help, Ive tried installing the Vintage interface mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4697) but for some reason the dialogue boxes wont change their looks, could another mod that Im not seeing have conflicts with the vintage one?

Check on starblue setting on gmcm. If nothing on the setting, try disable starblue

Starblue makes interface changes, which will override Vintage since iirc Starblue comes first in the load order

guys i have a seasonal abigail , seasonal cute characters, seasonal emily , seasonal haley mods game says its working but there is no change in clothes
it only effect portraits
so, Stardew runs at 60 fps, which means 16.(6) ms per frame
this means Chests Anywhere takes most of the frame
(if the whole frame takes more than 16.(6) ms, you're getting fps drops)
I guess big amount of chests can be a reason for that..

hello, after installing smapi mod, when I enter the game, I get the error that smapi is not responding all the time, after waiting for a long time, when I press wait, it wakes up, but after 30 minutes or so, it says it does not respond and kicks it out of the game, can you help?

One thing we have seen, is that sometimes lag occurs where I don't see the client move/interact with things and the time is off. Either host is faster or the client is faster. I'm not sure if this is a bug or an issue with Time Master. It seems to work for everyone else without issue.
The Client's log is showing issues that could be affecting the game at day start
If your ping is, um like 6000 lol that causes problems (personal experience)
ideal ping is 150 or better, roughly, and if you have ping spikes that also screws things up
If you have a lot of mods that also increases the amount of data going back and forth
I mean, it's a local game, but I will check to see if it could be the cause

well.. I relaunched it it seems fixed now, after deleting NPC adventures after I finally managed to notice that was still in there, I didn't realize that affected the lighting in houses of all things!
I doubt it affects the lighting, but I can say that NPC Adventures shouldn't be used in Multiplayer

So there's an issue with the second log - Farmhouse Fixes is throwing an error trying to find the cellar location in the cabin. Whatever cellar map you're using doesn't have a warp, i.e. may not be compatible with multiplayer.
This is likely one source of the lag
So get rid of Farmhouse Fixes?
I would try that first, see if the lag improves. If it doesn't, then delete the cellar map and see if that's the culprit.
Also - check mp compatbility for Fertilizer Anywhere. If it's fine, then maybe the other player should reinstall it

The PyTK mod is now obsolete. You can delete it from your mods folder, and all your mods should be safe.

Trying a local lan connection and seeing if that changes anything.
The only errors SMAPI shows are missing mods/dependencies for some of your other mods. Nothing obvious is popping out at me. Since you're still on SMAPI version 3.18.4, I would suggest that both of you add Spritemaster. It optimizes the game and resamples the pixels, but the resampling can be turned off if you don't like the effect.
Profiler is another mod that helps to determine what could be causing lag.

Either we've not been clear or there is a misunderstanding - if your C# mods do not match, your game will continue to be broken and continue to break. If you choose not to follow our advice, that's your prerogative, but there's nothing more we can do to help except to tell you to have matching mods. That is just how mp works.
I was curious if the error point had changed; it has not. SMAPI says the assets/data.json file cannot be found. Can you check your Lookup Anything folder and see if the assets/data.json file is there?

No, that's not necessary. I'm trying to understand why SMAPI thinks it's corrupted or missing. I hate to say it, but this could be a mobile issue we just don't know how to fix. You could try reverting to version 1.39.0?

Okay, so I have updated/reinstalled these mods two times, yet they still tell me they need to be updated. Since it's such a long list, I'm a bit skeptical to believe that all of them have just not updated their manifest.json file. Has anyone gotten this problem? Should I investigate this further?
I doubt that the manifest for Lookup Anything is incorrect. This might be a silly question, but when you update, do you delete the old file and add the new one or do you overwrite?

Hi! What mods are the no output found and no idea notices are? I tried checking to no avail.

Smapi crashed when I entered the bus stop, the last frame (literally just 1 frame) looks like it's drawing bus stop scene but without any props.
This happened after i installed Challenging CC Bundle, it might be related.
Any idea?

Unfortunately, the log doesn't give us that info - I suggest doing a search in File Explorer for "tea leaf", but the items that start with "wf" are Wildflour, so it has to be one of her mods, maybe the Tea Pack?

Is it a custom special order? I ask because some custom special orders were coded so that if you were trying to give a quantity of something, the quality had to remain the same (so, no mix/match of quality crops, for example)
Some are custom and some are just standard vanilla items. I don't know if it makes a difference that I'm pulling them from the CJB?
It might? If the order is to "harvest" a crop, then spawning via CJB wouldn't count.
It's stuff like "Deliver 4 mead"/"Deliver 12 hard candies" etc.
I don't have an answer, Dante. You could find which mod added the order and then cross-check the mod page to see if anyone else has had similar issues. You could also see if someone else pops in here who may know more about special orders.

Yes. You definitely do not want to change CC bundles mid-save.

I think it might be the Atelier Wildflour mods? It's not doing it with other orders.
It's the Atelier mods. It has different kinds of mead and hard candy but no "standard" mead and hard candy.
You could try to undo it, but it depends on how much you've played since installing it.
It's installed both mid-save and also mid-game since mobile saves y'know (whoops)
you need the wildflour's gourmet pantry mod for the gourmet bakery recipes mod you have, it's looking for items not in your game
So in general altering bundles mid-game just doesn't work??
at least that's what i think the issue is, i'm on my phone it's hard to read the log

To my knowledge, no. And for what it's worth, Challenging CC bundles states on its main page that "your savegame might be affected by the changes of this bundle mod" and gives specific instructions for uninstalling.

I recommend that you delete both ore mods and leave the Mini Bars. It's the one that affects combat. If that's clean, try removing the two ore mods one at a time.

Is dynamic game assets working?
After doing the 50/50 method. I narrowed down that one of these PPJA mods seems to cause the "No idea what 'Tea Leaf' is!" notice.
After looking through the folders of each one of them I just cannot seem to find it. Kindly help me on what I should do.

You have a lot of dependencies missing. Go through your SMAPI Log, click on hide all, check all the ones with errors and read through them. You may have nearly 10 dependencies missing.
Best to do what I adviced above. Clean up the errors that can be easily fixed and run through your game again. Hopefully it clears things up.
You can do it in Robin's shop if you have the latest version of the game.
