ive had 2 sessions where it stopped raining for 2 months in 1 i used a rain totem and now i can finally marry but is it still a bug cause i cant have it happen 2 times when i only have played 2 sessions ever should not have to use a rain totem to get rain :P

I’m playing online co-op and when I get loaded in it says you are now hosting a multiplayer game and I send my buddy an invite and he gets server failed or something like that and I’ve tried restarting console rebooting WiFi deleting and reinstalling and nothing is working

My GOG version of SDV quit. It won't start to the point that task manager doesn't even show it starting. I've deleted to and reloaded and still the same; nothing. I went to a systems checkpoint and still nothing. Any ideas on the problem pls ping me.

another technical issue here--i was playing a multiplayer game w my brother and all of a sudden our file disappeared. i followed the troubleshooting guide and was able to recover the save file, but it only shows up on the Load portion of the game, not the Co-Op option. is there any way to make it a multiplayer game again..?

So I'm trying to figure out whats happening and why I can't get into a game with my wife. We are both playing on PC using gamepass, so have to go through the xbox app. Whenever I load in, I'm loading into the bedroom that isn't how I had it laid out previously, my character is missing and there is the tool I had in slot 1 that is where my bed was when I was last in the game. I've parsed the log and have 2 errors is SMAPI and 38 in the game, the game errors all seem to be about dialogue

im so sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but its the first time ive played in a month or so and my games just seems off - the screen feels more zoomed out than usual (i've never touched the zoom settings in my life) both in the menus and in the game. on top of this, i cant see what im changing my laptop volume to when playing, and i cant seem to tab out by hitting the windows key and i cant alt+f4 either. its like the whole laptop overlay has gone (i think thats the term) and i have to quit the game to quit out. is this a universal thing or is it just me?

ive also tried resetting my laptop by both restarting and actually switching it off and on again and nothing seems to do the trick

If your resolution is messed up try deleting startup_preferences This can be found on Windows at %appdata% > Stardew Valley > it's in that folder, or C:\Users\Yourwindowsnamehere\AppData\Roaming\StardewValley or for Mac can be found at ~/.config/StardewValley To get here you'll want to go to your desktop, then in the menu bar select Go -> Go to Folder...

I use the windows key + shift + S shortcut which allows you to draw a box around the screen and puts it into your clipboard to take screenshots now.

hello! apologies if this has been asked already but i briefly searched for similar cases and couldn't find anything yet. so recently i opened stardew to do a co-op game with friends but didn't see an option for it so i updated my stardew valley through GOG. after updating, whenever i try to start SDV, GOG says "Syncing" then "Synced to GOG" but doesn't actually open. i've tried clicking 'check for updates', 'verify/repair', as well as uninstalling and reinstalling stardew, but no avail; it just says Synced every time without opening. does anyone know what i could do to fix this? e_omo thanks!

Hi, I have a strange bug (vanilla stardew)
I have a coop with 4 chickens and 4 ducks, yet every time I get duck eggs (I know it is only every second day) there are only 3 duck eggs. Initally there was 4 however for the past 5-6 times I have gotten the eggs there has only been three. I have checked all along the bottom row of the coop aswell there are none that are hidden there

If it was deleted it would automatically appear in the lost and found box. Seeing as it isn't there, it's probably just sitting somewhere ^^. Don't know if it's different in switch, but that is the case on pc.

Hey everyone, my sister is having trouble getting steam to open her game. You hit play, and it looks like it's doing something (the button changes), and then everything just stops and the button goes back to saying play.

It doesn't show me any kind of warning or notification, nor it freezes or something. I just turns to a black screen and then just nothing.

Is there a way or a mod I can download to improve performance or something like that?

I've tried uninstalling the game and opening a new farm, but I always end with a black screen when I try to go to a new day

Hey guys, I have been having this issue since yesterday. I am able to open the game. Load my saved files. But when I click on it, it gets stuck on the loading screen. And after sometime "stardewvalleymoddingapi not responding" error comes. I click wait untill it works. But it doesn't seem to work. So at the end I have to click close app. I tried reinstalling the game, smapi, and nothing seem to work.
I also noticed that there is a red error in smapi window, but I can't seem to go there. Like I tried alt+tab in to the window but it doesn't open

It says "[Content patcher] Two content packs want to load the 'Maps/farmcave' asset (farm cave Variety and Hot spring farmcave). Neither will be applied. You should remove one of the content packs, or ask the author about compatibility.

sooo i got 2 pretty bad glitches that are stopping me from getting perfection...

  1. i needed 3 journal scraps(on of them for a nut) i wasnt paying attention and put 3 in a chest earlier i took them out and they all 3 gave me scrap 1 now no new ones are spawning...
    2.the stardrop at lvl 100 in the mines is gone but the perfection checker sais i still need it

If it's pulling up trash it's working, it's a % chance to get fish not an always get

It also depends where you are fishing

If you are fishing on the farm you either can't get fish or it's a stupid low chance

It's not something we directly help with, you might check in #archived-modded-support and see if there is a mod that can fix some of this stuff. I only suggest save editing for stardrops as I've yet to see any other way to fix it

i was trying to load one of my save files,; and it kept pushing me back to the loading screen with concerned apes icon n stuff; so i figured closing out of stardew and trying again may work, so now i tried to open it and it says “Steam was unable to sync your files for Stardew Valley with the Steam Cloud”

So i’ve had a problem where whenever i try to load a save, it just kicks me back to the title screen

I stored the save data and deleted the game, but was always coming back to it later, but now when i try loading it doesn’t work. I don’t know if it’s a problem with the data, or if I failed to save it correctly.

I’m playing it on mobile if that helps with anything
