I've been trying to play co-op with my friends, but they constantly and randomly lose connection and timeout, which is very frustrating. This only happens with stardew and not any other peer to peer game. Any clue what I can do to try and diagnose the problem or fix it? They're able to connect most of the time but normally timeout within anywhere from a few to 20 minutes.

My brother, who lives in the same house as me, and is hardwired into the same exact router as me, still times out.

Hi, I have a concern. idk where to properly ask this. Why does my golden scythe started harvesting eggplants, fairy rose, artichoke on my non-moded stardew valley (I can't harvest these without the scythe, it stated "requires scythe"). Tho i have the mod for it, I wasn't playing on the moded ( I have a farm which I play without mods and I have a farm too I play with mods). What could be the problem?

once only. just to arrange the bee hives. (since i also have the mod that shows the range) after that I opened it through steam then I realized the changes of the scythe.

the way the mod works, it will change the crop properties, so it's a permanent change to existing crops

Hello! I really need some help with my game-

for like an hour now i keep getting different error codes on my nintentdo switch when trying to play stardew. the error code i most recently got is 2002-2039. all other games work, but when i try to play stardew valley i get multiple error codes alternating. the one i recently got says "The software was closed because an error occurred." a previous one stated that I need to reopen the game from the HOME menu. nothing seems to solve this issue... it seems i just cannot open the game anymore. the last time i played with no issues was yesterday.

Hey all, I just re-downloaded after a year hiatus. Have a pretty good gaming PC, and I added in about 35 mods (SVE, a few others like TimeStop and SkullCavernElevator, etc). Trying out Local Co-Op with a keyboard and controller with my wife, it worked last night, but seemed to be loading slowly on initial load. Today, when going to start Local Co-Op, I can't get it to recognize the controller or join (probably a separate issue). After a few tries, the game actually just freezes up and won't unlock when I go to start Local Co-Op. Now it's to the point where I just load my saved game I started yesterday and it barely makes it through load, and then SMAPI/the game freezes up when I click on Start Local Co-Op. Not sure if it is a specific mod or what. At the bottom of the SMAPI log, I don't notice an error (though I'm a noob). Hi, I just download SDV from steam on windows laptop and started a new playthrough. Honestly that's a good question, I don't know how the game identifies people joining a multiplayer game. Unfortunately you may have to just find out if it works, and I'm not sure if there would be anything you could do if it didn't

If I'm remembering correctly, the intention of the field was to have a spot where people could put their Steam/Xbox/PS/etc. username since those could differ from your Discord name. It's not like there's a wrong way to fill out the template though, and if a part of it feels unnecessary for you, you don't need to include it
