Hi, not sure where to go right now. I tried to make an forum account, but it denied me. I'm having a problem where I get a CTD when my boyfriend and I play local split screen. He gets the heart event for Clint (going into the blacksmith) where Clint is opening a geode for Emily. When he tries to select a response choice, it CTDs. This also happened before when we try to talk to the wizard outside of his castle. This is GOG version, and I have error logs and save files. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

I'm guessing Siv's marriage mod was running (even though I wasnt booting from SMAPI, and character sprites were not different?)....So, thank you for the help haha

Ok weird question, upload.farm is still broken for me coming up with a bad gateway error. Tried uploading the file off my phone data instead of the home wireless same issue (it's a PC save). Wife is hosting a game, and myself and my friend are having issues connecting
We've played this game for a couple years now but as of the last month, we have extreme issues trying to connect.
Sometimes one person can connect, but often we try to connect multiple times without any luck. The host save always pops up instantly in the Co-op Join screen, which is what makes this all the more frustrating.
We're all hard wired, I'm in the same house/network as my wife, friend is in the same city. We've tried all variations of joining, via steam, invite code, ETC. Can't get a consistent Join.

Hello. I play stardew in Mac. My game can’t read the save files. I literally log into a new game. Close it. And then when I go to load game. It doesn’t exist. But the saves files folder it’s totally normal.
So I guess it’s a problem with the game not being able to read or doesn’t have permits. Someone knows how to fix? Thanks

I have a 1920x1080 screen on my laptop. For some time, when I set the window mode to fullscreen, I couldn't see the whole game. I tried deleting startup_preferences but it didn't work. However, a few minutes ago, I discovered that it has something to do with scale settings in Windows ||10|| (I had it on 125%); when I change it to 100%, the game looks as it should. Is there a solution so I don't have to change the scale every time I want to play? The thing is that other apps are hard to look at because the text is too small

Not sure if it been a confirmed bug. But my wife and I both exhausted our energy at the end of the day and we both ended up in our beds at the same time and the game froze and we had to restart the day. This was being played on PS5 co-op on split screen.

I am trying to play with 2 other friends, and the last person always has issues ...
I was able to fix this problem while playing with my friend by creating a network on Hamachi and having my friend connect to it before hosting our save. It still has a bit of lag every now and then, but no disconnects after 5+ days of playing (in-game).

I have a very odd issue, I have this game on microsoft store. But if i search it in windows by pressing windows and then typing stardew valley i cant find the game i cant find xbox app either i can only access the game by going into the microsoft store and pressing play but its really annoying not being able to search it or have a shortcut to it because the microsoft store is a lot of the times very buggy

I haven't messed with any settings, and have tried deleting startup_preferences. I have also downloaded the game. The only way I have found to fix it is to change my actual computers resolution. 4k, yeah that sounds about right, 4k tends to make things zoomed out, you could try changing the zoom level on windows which would probably help, besides that there wouldn't be much you could do, maybe change stardews resolution to 1920x1080
