Desync could be caused by mods or internet connection, stardew is very very picky when it comes to internet connection for some reason

I found some people on the reddit site with the same problem as mine, I've updated, reinstalled and did everything possible and it didn't work, the horizontal line disappears when I put it in window mode, but in full screen it comes back and even in window mode in full screen it trembles non-stop, so the only way it ran without problems was in window mode, i wanted to find a solution to go back to playing as before, because up to 1.5.5 the game worked normally here

So the legacy mode will 100% fix it if the problem didn't exist before 1.5.5, the legacy mode the only difference is you can't play with mods, there is no gameplay/patch version differences besides it reverts to using XNA instead of monogame

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I seem to have issues using desktop shortcuts with Steam, was wondering if anybody else is having that issue? First I thought its an issue with SMAPI but I tried it without the modified launch options as well. I can start SDV from steam directly with no issue, but once I create a desktop shortcut its appears with no proper picture and Win10 doesn't know how to open the file.

I solved the horizontal line problem in full screen mode, it wasn't my pc or compatibility, it was a wrong configuration in the video card's 3d option, it was for high performance, I changed it to balanced and that solved

So when I load the up the game, it opens up in windowed mode but doesn't cover the whole screen and the bottom edges are cut off. When I try to maximize it in window mode, it glitches out. Like it keeps shifting very quickly.

hey, ive been having problems with HDR and stardew valley in fullscreen, no clue why but whenever i put stardew in fullscreen and have it as the main thing on screen my screen goes black for a second and turns off HDR making everything look overly bright. this started within the last two weeks and i was wondering if theres a fix that isnt going into windowed mode

Based on Google results, I should be able to do co-op through invite codes, as he and I both have PC's. However, he was unable to join my farm; and, while I was able to join his, I wasn't able to move out of the bed. (Also, my character was missing eyes.) I'm not sure how to approach this, or what to do.

hi!! um, so i managed to break stardew valley in what is probably record time, and im not even able to run it vanilla on pc
while the game actually launches and i can get to the start screen, it has so much trouble loading information in a timely manner that it crashes when i try to actually start the game,, i didnt have this issue the first time i ran it, and the second time was with very light modding (and it still ran fine) but i reset my pc after, tried running it again, and it's still behaving too slow to run properly,, i believe i've properly purged any and all mod content on it, so i should be working with a 100% vanilla file set ((if that needs confirmed somehow first that's fine, just let me know how i can be of help))

I've been playing co-op unmodded on pc with some friends and the game is very buggy, with going to sleep taking up to 10 minutes each day waiting, and being unable to pick up any items in the mine so I can't explore in there. If you're using steam, you may be able to fiddle with it in the steam controller gui, but if you're not unless there is a sensitivity in settings you can't do anything about it

The other semi common reason 1.5.5+ doesn't work on older computers has more to do with monogame not being able to grab the graphics card driver, so try updating that too.

Hi, I just installed the Linux version through Steam and the game is crashing on boot. When I try to run it from the console, I get the following error:

im struggling to find an answer for this so i'm asking here, but can anyone help? whenever i try to open my sdv, it takes a good long while to start up and once it finally does, whenever i try to click onto one of my worlds, the game freezes up and crashes. i don't have smapi installed and about 2 weeks ago my sdv was working just fine, so i dont know what's going on, i ust want to see if anyone here has had the same problem and can see if my game can be fixed 😨
